Heli frowned; Athena smirked. Heli sat up straight; Athena casually crossed her legs.
She looks even prettier than last year, he thought, But now I feel unfamiliar with her! Strange!
Athena's concerned expression intertwining with Heli's stiff and unhappy face equals the disconnection between the couple. Athena felt confused.
Why am I unfamiliar with Heli? Am I not as comfortable with him as I was before?
Athena then frowned.
Night fell. The students were walking to their dormitory rooms. Athena felt even more confused.
"Isn't this an evening school?" she asked herself.
"It's not anymore!" said a familiar voice.
This startled Athena silly. She flinched so hard that she began to overcome anxiety. Her palms began to sweat.
I had never felt this way before, she thought, Where is that voice coming from?
And then, the voice that hollered at Athena stood before her. She jumped as she saw the face of William Drexler IX.
"William!" she scowled, "What are you doing here?"
"You and Heli are sharing a dorm!" William said firmly.
"I'm certain of that, that wasn't the answer to my damn question!"
"Well…the answer to that question is…I like it here, so I'm staying here."
Athena rolled her eyes.
"Well that explains it."
Vincent Kim had found a special spot in the school's gardens. Where he and the Seven Fates of Chakho, Seoul sit and have a chat.
He and the Blood Altar as well. But ever since Heli had found Athena as his soulmate, they had difficulties reconnecting with each other.
Vincent let out a sigh. Suddenly, the Blood Altar entered his space. Vincent rolled his eyes.
"And what are you doing here?" he asked.
The boys all scoffed and scowled.
"We go here?" said Jacob, throwing his arms around.
Vincent opened his eyes wider, he had forgotten that the outside patio was the Blood Altar's special spot.
Vincent laughed nervously.
"Sorry, I didn't know that this was your spot, too."
Vincent laughed some more.
"I don't think this guy understands the importance of this spot!" chided Noa.
"I agree!" said Solon.
"We have to do something about this guy." added Jino.
"But what can we do?" asked Jakah.
Jaan, the only person that didn't speak up, eventually said, "We have to destroy him!"
The other boys looked towards Jaan.
"Why must we destroy him?" asked Jacob.
"Because, he does not deserve to be in the way of our personal get-together lawn."
Athena and Heli were in Athena's dormitory room. Athena laid in Heli's arms. But Athena still felt confused.
I don't understand why he doesn't speak his kind and gentle words like he used to. Why isn't everything how I left it?
Athena then sighed sadly. Heli felt concerned for Athena.
"Why so sad, darling?" he asked.
"I don't know," Athena said, "I just feel as if everything isn't how I left it."
"Well, everything has changed a lot ever since you left to the Underworld."
"Underland, you mean." Heli nodded his head.
Heli then sighed.
"I'm sorry if you feel unfamiliar with the things that have been added to the school."
Athena then frowned as her eyes welled up with tears. She gave a little sniffle. Heli held her closer to his arms.
"I heard about your transformation during the full moon."
"I know," said Heli, "But I wouldn't worry about it right now. It's just like a teenager going through puberty."
"Puberty?"
"You know...maturing?"
