Taken Prince
  • Y/N's P.O.V.
  • I stared at Namjoon's sleeping figure. He slept straight on his back with his arms along his sides. Why does he do everything perfectly and neatly?
  • I couldn't sleep. It's all because of the man sleeping in front of me not getting out from my mind. He's very mysterious and weird.
  • I looked at my ceiling, trying to fall asleep but failed miserably. At this point I just couldn't sleep, not only because of Namjoon.
  • The night passed without getting a single minute of sleep. I have remembered all details of the ceiling by now, even in the dark. After eight hours of loneliness in the dark, Namjoon woke up as the sun rose. He sat up, stretching a little before looking at me. "Good morning mrs. Y/N."
  • I gasped. "MRS?!"
  • "I apologize. Did I offend you?" he asked calmly.
  • "Yes! It sounds like I'm an old married lady! Don't call me that again! I'm not married! I'm single!" I said, *ed by his over formality.
  • "I apologize. I will not repeat it."
  • "We're almost the same age, aren't we? I'm 27, how old are you?" I asked.
  • "I am 28 years old," he answered smiling.
  • "Alright mr. Namjoon," I teased. Unfortunately, he didn't react to it.
  • "Are you well?" He got up and sat next to me, putting his hand on my cheek and then my forehead.
  • "Yes, why?" I asked, confused. I was also very shocked of his behavior. He has never cared about me so why was he caring now?
  • "You are pale looking with dark circles. Did you rest well?"
  • "No." I grabbed his hand and moved it away from my face. "I didn't sleep."
  • "Why is that?" he asked.
  • "I just couldn't." I sighed. "Anyway, let's go on with our day. There's skin products, a brand new tooth brush and everything you need to prepare yourself in the bathroom. I hope it's enough," I explained, pointing at the bathroom.
  • "I appreciate your work. It's more than enough!" I nodded as I got up and made my way towards another bathroom.
  • "KIDS! EVERYONE! COME LOOK AT THIS!" My mom ran inside with the newspaper in her hands as she gathered us all. "There's news that the prince is lost." She looked up to see our reaction, studying it carefully.
  • I looked at her shocked. "Prince and lost? Doesn't he have guards around him all day?" I asked. "This might be fake news."
  • "Princes and princesses do not have body guards around them all day," Namjoon answered. Everyone glanced at him, but kept silent. Okay? "Furthermore, the reports told that the members of the royal family were vacationing a few weeks prior, thus indicating the possibility that they may have misplaced the prince during their travels."
  • What the heck? "How do you kn-"
  • "Then why are they telling people now if weeks have passed?" my father cut my off, asking.
  • "They might have searched the area first to not alert people," my mother explained. "But here it says that whoever finds the prince will get rewarded."
  • "Where is the castle located? Is it far from this city?" Namjoon suddenly asked.
  • "Yes. I don't think the prince is anywhere near here," I stated. "But if we see him we'll just call the castle and get rewarded. We don't know how he looks though."
  • "Here it says," my mom started. "'Whoever sees a tall man with blonde hair named Namjoon, immediately suspect him and inform the castle'," she read. I side eyed Namjoon, checking him, but kept silent. He seemed nervous and like he was cold sweating.
  • "I wish you do not have a suspicion of me being the grand prince," Namjoon suddenly said. At least he was aware of him looking and sounding exactly like a prince.
  • "Of course not! You're probably not the prince!" my father said and smiled. Me and my mom warmly smiled along with my dad to make Namjoon feel at home.
  • "I appreciate your trust."
  • I looked down with a slight smile.
  • Hah, trust. *ing liar.
