Side by Side, Eye to Eye
  • The stories I could tell dear journal! I don’t have much to say, but…I’m feeling a little left out.
  • I was walking out at the end of filming, when I started a conversation about where they were filming the movie next.
  • “We are going to do some exploring in Windsor.” said Melanie in a cheerful tone.
  • “Oh, really, awesome, I can’t wait to go!” I replied.
  • But both Ronan and Melanie looked at me confused as if they wanted to avoid me!
  • “We’d love for you to join us,” Ronan said, “But…”
  • “But what? What’s the matter? Something wrong?”
  • The boy and girl nodded their heads.
  • “Well, tell me what’s wrong! I won’t get mad!”
  • “Okay…*clears throat*…it’s…restricted?”
  • “What? What do you mean by that?”
  • “What Ronan’s trying to say is…the trip to Windsor is for the cast and crew…ahem…only…I’m sorry!”
  • “We are sorry.”
  • “I understand.” I said, “I was just wondering. When are you going to go there?”
  • “On the 17th, I think!” Ronan said, “It’s in, like, a week!”
  • “Cool!”
  • I was REALLY discouraged after.
  • I rushed home later on and shouted, “Mom! I’ve got crazy news!”
  • “What crazy news!?”
  • “They’re going to do some exploring in WINDSOR!”
  • And then we cheered.
  • “But it’s for the cast and crew only.”
  • “Oh, well, that’s okay, then. I can go! In fact, I’ve actually been a play director before”
  • “Awesome!”
  • “I know! But I’m the one that’s going.”
  • “Agreed!”
  • This all happened way too many hours ago. Right now, 10:30pm. Time for bed! Goodnight.
  • All the best, Sabrina.
