Dear Journal,
After already a month, Ronan finally forgave me…and my sister! And it all happened when I first woke up; my phone rang; I answered it.
“Hello?”
“Good morning, Sabrina! Sorry to wake you.”
“It’s okay. What’s the haps?”
“‘What’s the haps’? What does that mean?”
“It means, ‘how’s it going’, or ‘how are you’!”
“Is it slang?”
“Yup!”
“Okay. So, I talked to Ronan yesterday!”
“Oh! Really, you did?”
“Yep!"
"I thought you did that a month ago?"
"I had stuff to do. So Ronan said that he’ll apologize to you soon.”
“Okay…alright. I’ll meet him soon, then.”
“Okay, buh-bye!”
“Bye.”
I hung my phone up with a gloomy look. I got dressed, had breakfast, and walked out to town.
I did some looking at some shops. I was out and about until it was 1:30pm. I had a little lunch at the same café where I met Lady Jane and her brothers.
I walked home at 4:36 pm; I started remembering Ronan and me arguing; I started tearing up. I stood by a wall…and, quietly, cried.
I saw someone walk up. It took only one look; I knew who it was: Ronan Ó Foghladh.
“What do you want?” I asked in an envious way.
“Please,” Ronan begged, “Forgive me!”
“After what you said about my sister Ashley…and me? Why do you even want to talk to me, I thought we were ‘stupid’?” I said between sobs and gasps.
“You know what,”
“What?”
“I should never have said that! I’m so sorry!” Ronan said as he wiped my tears.
“I don’t understand why you don’t like me!”
“Oh, no! I do like you! I was just afraid that you or Ashley weren't safe people!”
Ronan wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead.
“You're Sabrina, right?”
“Yes, I am!”
Ronan looked at me different, as if he saw me before.
“Oh, great! How old are you?”
“I was born in 1995, so as of right now, I’m 12, about to turn 13! And I’m more of the sweeter type.”
Ronan smiled, and walked me home, I held his hand the whole way. So, I was pretty happy that Ronan was being sweeter to me and Ashley.
In fact, I’m starting to have a crush on him! Looks like I’ll be sleeping in the living room tonight.
All the best, Sabrina.
