It’s already 8:30pm and I would say that we had a long day. But it was fun.
So, I literally got out of bed, and went downstairs.
Then I saw my mom already dressed and she said, “Ashley, I know it’s a lot to ask, I’ve a lot of shopping to do, can you mind the house for a bit until I’m back?”
“Gee…” I stammered, “Well, um, sure!”
“Thank you so much, Baby Doll, you’re a lifesaver!” Mom said in relieve.
Things got off to a good start. But as soon as I turned off my phone, I went into my room; Sabrina looked all happy as a princess was waiting for a prince, when she was staring out the window.
I think she’s more of a patient person than me…maybe a little too patient.
Just saying, I want her to be loved right.
A few hours passed; “What’s keeping her?” Sabrina asked, worriedly.
“It’s okay,” I said while consoling her, “She’ll be back soon! I hope.”
I should have said “no” to the idea, but there are days I have to please my mother. And this was the day.
A few more hours passed by; it was probably 12:30pm at that time. And Sabrina…was…grouchy!
She threw a very big tantrum that not even a child therapist would stop.
“Aaugh!” Sabrina yelled, “Where the heck is she!??! I want her here NOW!!!”
I knew I had to calm her down. She looked like she was about to scream like bloody murder; she did.
I gave her a pillow…and started screaming in it, and she plopped onto my shoulder when she stopped.
We were exhausted. But to cheer my little sis up, we played a lot of cards and board games.
Then we heard the door open… our mom was home. And she brought home Chinese food for lunch.
Even though today was rough, I still had fun with my almost teenage sister.
Until soon!
