  • Hi guys!
  • Thank you so much for reading! And thank you so much for being patient! I hope you enjoy!

  • I'm standing by a door, listening to my childhood friend sing. I would always catch Jungkook just belting out the lyrics to every song, nailing each and every one of them. After Jungkook is done singing, I clap loudly, making sure to express how good that was.
  • He freezes as if he forgot I was there and smiles sheepishly. It's been about a couple months since he left for his idol training. I do miss seeing him in person, but this was the next best thing.
  • "Do you really think I'm good?" Jungkook asks, looking that as if I say no, he would never sing again.
  • "Of course! You are the best singer that I've ever met!" I say gleefully, as I walk towards him. I gave him a big hug and continued to talk about how great he was. Then I hear Jungkook muttering something into my shoulder.
  • "You haven't met anyone who sings. What if I actually suck, but you don't know it."
  • "I don't have to know any other singer to know that you were amazing, silly! I'm serious, you could be an idol or something!" I was always amazed when I heard Jungkook's voice. I could tell that he wanted to be an idol one day, and I was planning to support him the whole way.
  • Jungkook was facetiming me while training, showing me the whole set-up. I have to admit that it looked a little small, but as long as Jungkook was happy. He showed me his group members a couple times, but it was only from the neck down.
  • There was 6 other members and he only wanted to show them from the neck down to not let one of them feel bad. One of the members couldn't be shown until their debut for some reason and he was feeling really sad about it. I then understood why I couldn't see the faces to the voices, but I'm happy that Jungkook is still the same sweet boy as before.
  • As I'm in my thoughts, Jungkook tells me that he has to end the call to practice breathing techniques. I say bye to him and turn my phone off, leaning on my bed with a sigh.
  • I really miss him...

  • I'm sitting on my bed right now, glaring at the cheery person in front of me. They thought that it would be a good idea to wake me up to plan everything that we're going to do before Tuesday. Tuesday was the day of the concert, and I was confused as to why the university would give people tickets to something on a school day.
  • When I expressed my concerns, it quickly dissipated when they told me that we'd have the entire week off.
  • Even if I wasn't that excited to go to the concert, I would never say no to free time off. So here I am, listening to Sun-Hi drone on about all we need to do.
  • "We need to get our nails done, get ARMY bombs, and a bunch of concert supplies!" Sun-Hi said without stopping to take a breath. I wanted to spend the extra time just resting my mind, but apparently, I won't be.
  • I get that the concert is only in two days and Sun-Hi is a big fan, but I wish that she'd save all of her energy when we're actually at the concert. I get dressed for the day because Sun-Hi was taking me to get my hair restyled.
  • I drew a line at getting my nails done. I'd always been scared of those plastic things breaking off and taking my real nail with them. And the worst part of it is that I'd heard of it happening before. And plus, it's hard to do things with them on. I'd like to keep my average nails in one piece, thank you.
  • Before I knew it, Sun-Hi and I were in the car heading towards the salon. I actually have a lot more in common with her than I originally thought. She is also from the US and came to Korea a couple years ago. She has a similar personality to me, but she tends to show hers a bit more.
  • So here we are, in the car talking about the things in Korea that America didn't have. We bonded over the short 15-minute car ride to our destination. The salon we were going to was a small, but efficient place as Sun-Hi had described. I have to admit that it did loo comforting and more personalized than the high-end, fancy salons.
  • Sun-Hi walks up to a worker and explained how she wants our hair to look like. She apparently didn't want to tell me to 'surprise me'. I was getting a little worried that my hair would turn out like a barbie doll or something.
  • I sat in the salon chair and let the stylist work her magic, careful not to move a muscle and accidentally have her make me have a bald spot.
  • 3 hours later
  • That has to be the longest that anyone has spent on my hair ever. When I got up, various cramps popped in my back. But I like the new look. It's different from the usual but still has bits of my personality in it. It was wavy at the ends with two shades of blue.
  • I thanked and paid the stylist and looked for Sun-Hi. I didn't see her in the salon. Maybe she went to the car. I decided to go to the car to look for her and if she wasn't there, just wait until she came. I walked outside the salon to collide face first with a body.
  • What is with me bumping into people these days?
  • I held my head and looked at the guy. More like looked down on the guy. The platform boots that I was wearing added a couple inches to my height. Without them on maybe we would have been the same height, but I'm not sure. Anyway, the guy had a mask and hat on, kind of like the guy who bumped into me at the pharmacy.
  • Said guy looks at me with an irked expression which quickly turns to panic when we hear screams coming in our direction. What did this guy do, rob someone? That's what I originally thought, but the screams were excited, not angry. Now that I look at the guy, he resembles the similar get-up as the idols in disguise.
  • I decide to help the guy out and drag him inside the salon. It looks like he was about to complain but stop when he realized what I was doing. I pulled him inside at the right time because a moment later, I saw 4 girls run past the salon. They looked a little too old to be acting so immaturely, but who am I to judge?
  • I look at the guy, I guess trying to see if I would be able to recognize him. He must notice that because he tenses up. After a few seconds of me thinking about if I had seen him before, I stopped. I looked outside of the salon, seeing if any of the fangirls were lurking around outside.
  • When I saw no one suspicious, I opened the door wider and motioned for the guy to step out. He stepped out cautiously, looking around frantically. When he saw no one, he let out a sigh of relief.
  • "Thank you so much for your help. I honestly don't know what I would have done if you weren't there to hide me. I can't thank you enough." The guy bows profusely, looking kind of adorable. Which was contrasting to the guy's 'life sucks and so do you' aura. But he seems like a really cool guy.
  • After a couple minutes of continuous bowing from the guy, which was making people stare, he left. And that was the moment when Sun-Hi decided to appear from wherever she was and nearly scare me to death.
  • "Oh my god! Don't scare me like that! Where were you, I was looking for you." I say with an accusatory tone. If I didn't know Sun-Hi well enough, I would have thought that she'd ditched me.
  • "I'm sorry, don't kill me! I just had to go to this shop to get the concert supplies. Your hair took so long, and I got bored of waiting." Sun-Hi apologizes insincerely. She obviously doesn't regret waiting on me. Another thing her and I have in common is that we have very low patience. So I understand her actions in a way.
  • "By the way. Who was that guy that you were talking to? He seemed really familiar." Sun-Hi asks me suddenly, curiosity laced in her voice. I tell her what happened while she stands there with a dazed expression.
  • "That is so cool! Imagine he actually ends up being an idol! This could be like a K-Drama! Did you get his number?" The love stupefied girl says as she sighs. I ignore her and start walking towards her car. Times like these I really wish that I had a car, so I could just drive away from situations like this.
  • Good thing that I almost have enough saved up. Of course, I could always ask my parents to buy a car for me, but I like to work for things. I hate being useless and having to depend on others. Especially now after what happened in my past life.
  • Sun-Hi pouts at my blatant ignoring of her questions and slowly walks towards the car. She unlocks the doors and starts the car when we're all settled in. We spend the rest of the drive with Sun-Hi trying to coax me into talking to her. I eventually get tired of the pokes to my side and start talking.
  • Thankfully when we got back to our dorm room, I was left alone to rest. I was grateful for the silence and sunk into my bed covers. I immediately fell asleep once my head hit the pillow.
  • When I woke up, I realized that it was Monday. Did I sleep for a whole day?! Since I had nothing to do, I decided to paint my nails to at least make an effort for them to look presentable. I was torn between blue and black for my nail color but eventually decided on both.
  • I took out my nail tools to make designs on my nail. One thing I was proud about myself was that I could make my nails look good enough that people mistake them for professionally done nails. When I was finished, I put my nails under the nail dryer and looked at the final product.
  • After I put the nail products back, I tried to find something to do. When nothing came to me, I decided to go back to sleep. The next day would be hectic anyway.
  • ______________________________________________________________
  • I am so glad that I decided to sleep all day.
  • Sun-Hi woke me up near 3 am to get ready for the concert. When I asked why, she explained how most people wait days at the venue for the concert. She wanted us to get there early so it would be easier to find our seats.
  • I put on my outfit and complained the whole time. Even though I slept for most of Sunday and Monday, I still felt a twinge of sleepiness. I'm so going to go to sleep in the car.
  • Just like I had planned, I laid back as soon as I buckled up. It worked in favor of me anyway. I already knew in concerts you had to stand and the concerts lasted hours. I need to conserve my energy while I can. I slowly close my eyes once the car started moving.
