Never stop loving you / Taehyung's POV
Never stop loving you
  • I sat in the library, studying one last time before the test. It was our second big test of the year. I’m sure Olivia will be here soon, also studying once more before the test. She walked into the room with Lia, one of Yuna’s friends. That can’t be good. I stood up and walked over to the table that they sat at. Olivia looked up at me when I sat beside her.
  • “Hi.” She smiled.
  • “Hi.” I cleared my throat. “Umm..” I glanced over at Lia and then back at Olivia. She sighed.
  • “What?”
  • “She’s Yuna’s-“
  • “I can choose my own friends.” I cut him off. “I don’t need you to tell me who to hangout with.” He raises his hands in surrender.
  • “Alright, fine.” I started to stand up.
  • “Was it a dare?” She said before I walked away.
  • “What?”
  • “Yesterday when you stopped by. Was it a dare?”
  • “Why would it-“
  • “When I called you, someone in the background said-“
  • “That was Jimin. He was being an *. He wouldn’t stop bugging me about you.” I chuckled. “But no. It wasn’t a dare. He ran up to the door, rang the doorbell, and pushed me in front of the door.”
  • “So you weren’t even gonna wish me good luck for the exams?”
  • “You said you needed space, so I gave it to you.” I replied.
  • “Oh.”
  • “Ok, well. I’m sorry if you’re mad at me still.” I walked away from their table and to my classroom.
  • I finished the test before anyone else so I sat on my phone for the rest of the time. I wonder how Olivia’s doing? We won’t get our grades back until the end of the day.
  • The day ended as quickly as it had begun. I got an A on my test. I walked outside in high spirits until I saw Lia and Olivia huddled outside. I walked over to them and Lia hugged Olivia.
  • “What’s wrong?” I asked, walking up behind them. Olivia hugged her stomach and looked at the floor.
  • “I have to go. I’m so sorry.” Lia said, hugging Olivia before walking away.
  • “What’s the matter?”
  • “Olivia, I thought you were done with Taehyung.” Yuna snorted as she approached us. “Or I guess I figured he was done with you.”
  • “Yuna, shut up.” I snapped. She was taken aback. “For once in your life can you stop bullying her because you’re jealous. You’re clearly not over me like you said you were.”
  • “I-I am over you.” She stuttered. “And I’m not jealous of her.”
  • “Then just leave her alone.” I retorted. She scoffed and stormed off. Olivia stared at me.
  • “Taehyung, I-“ she stopped when tears started streaming down her face. I held out my arms for her. She slowly walked closer and hugged me. She cried into my shoulder. “I-I’m scared to go home.”
  • “Why? What happened?” I pulled away from her and we walked towards a bench.
  • “Me test grade.” she explained, sitting down. “I got a C somehow.” She started crying again. I was just as shocked as she was. She usually gets the highest score in tests. “Say something.” She said quietly.
  • “I-I don’t know what to say.” I replied honestly. “I’m just as shocked as you are.”
  • “I don’t understand what happened.” She placed both of her hands in her lap. “I studied a lot.”
  • “Were you distracted maybe?”
  • “I don’t know.” She said quietly.
  • “But why are you scared to go home?”
  • “My dad wanted me to get an A.”
  • “But a C isn’t horrible.” I tried to comfort her.
  • “No, you don’t understand.” She replied. “He,” she paused. “Never mind.”
  • “No, tell me.”
  • “No. It’s not important. He just will be really disappointed.” She sighed. “But I better get home before he gets even more upset at me.”
