Never stop loving you / Taehyung's POV
Never stop loving you
  • Olivia and I have been hanging out a lot recently. I like her more and more each day but I don’t know if she feels the same way about me. She’s hard to read.
  • “Taehyung?” She says, approaching me.
  • “What’s up?” I ask.
  • “What was our assignment for Math yesterday?” She asks. She didn’t come to school yesterday and I’m not sure why, but she was limping all throughout the day today. I hope nothing’s wrong.
  • “We just had to complete the 50 problems.” I inform her.
  • “Oh. That’s it?”
  • “What do you mean ‘that’s is’? That’s a lot.” I laugh, walking next to her towards the gym.
  • “Not for me.” She tries to hide her limp, but I noticed. We walk in silence until we get to the gym door. I stop her in the hall.
  • “What’s wrong?” I look into her eyes but she pulls her arm from my grasp.
  • “Nothing.” She looks away from me.
  • “Why are you limping? Please tell me. You can trust me.” I plead.
  • “I’ll tell you at lunch.” She walks into the gym. I sigh. I’ll hold her to it. During gym class, we had to run laps. She didn’t tell the teacher she was hurt so she suffered through. I kept my eye on her during class just to be sure she didn’t injure herself further. As soon as gym was over, she rushed out of the room and into the lunch room. She sat at her usual table. I grabbed my lunch and sat with her.
  • “So, you gonna tell me what’s up?” I ask.
  • “Yes, but don’t laugh.” She warns.
  • “Ok, I won’t.”
  • “I dropped my school books on my foot because my dad jumped from a corner and scared the * outta me.” She explains.
  • “Why would I laugh? I feel the pain. I’ve dropped books on my foot several times.”
  • “Ok, well now you know.” She says. I nodded and we ate our lunch and talked about our day.
  • “I should probably head to the library before class.” She says.
  • “Why? You’re always at the library.” I point out.
  • “Yes, but I really need to study for a test coming up.”
  • “Alright, fine. See you after school.” I say, throwing my trash away.
  • “Ok. bye.” She gives me a quick hug and scurries off to the library.
  • I couldn’t stop thinking about Olivia during class. Her hair, her face, her smile, her personality. I was just enamored by her presence.
  • “Taehyung. Are you going to answer the question or are you just gonna stare at me?” My professor asks, shaking me from my thoughts.
  • “Sorry.” I look at the floor.
  • “Well? Are you gonna answer the question?”
  • “What was the question?” I ask sheepishly.
  • “What is the lateral surface area of this shape?” She repeats, sighing.
  • After school, I went to the library to find Olivia. When I got there, she was nowhere to be found. I asked the librarian if she had even come in here and she said she hadn’t seen her all day. I began to worry. I quickly returned the book I borrowed and ran out of the school. I slammed the door open and nearly knocked Olivia over.
  • “Oh my god, I’m so sorry.” I say, helping her up.
  • “Why are you in such a rush?” She asks, brushing herself off.
  • “I was looking for you. I thought you left already.” I admit, shyly.
  • “Nope. Still here.” She replies. “Why were you so worried? Even if I did leave you have my number. You could've just texted me.” She laughs and starts walking home. I walk beside her.
  • “I don’t know.” I shrug. “I’m sorry for hitting you with the door.”
  • “You’re fine.” She replies. “It didn’t really hurt.”
  • “How was the rest of your day today?”
  • “Slow. But it was good for the most part.” She shrugs. “What about you?”
  • “It was good. Yuna tried hitting on me again. I think she’s jealous of you.” I chuckle.
  • “She has nothing to worry about. We’re just friends.” She replies. “Nothing more.”
  • “Yeah.” We walked the rest of the way in silence. I walked her to the door before she stopped me.
  • “You better go. I don't know how my father will take it if he-” Suddenly their front door opens.
  • “Olivia. Who’s this?”
  • “Uhh dad…he’s just a friend from school.”
  • “Just a friend? Why haven't I heard about him before?” Sam asks.
  • “He’s just a friend. There’s nothing to mention.” She replies.
  • “Ok. Well he can stay for dinner if you’d like.” She looks at me and I nod.
  • “Sure.” She replies. She takes my arm and walks upstairs to her room. I’ve never been to her house before. She closes her door and locks it behind her.
  • “I’m surprised he didn’t send you away.” She says, putting her bag away.
  • “Why would he?”
  • “He’s not the type of person to umm…let me have a boyfriend. I mean we’re just friends so it’s fine, but..I mean you’re still a boy.” She chuckles.
  • “Yeah.” I reply. She doesn’t know how much I like her.
  • “Honey, I’m home!” A lady, who I’m assuming is her mom, yells from downstairs.
