Never stop loving you / Olivia's POV
Never stop loving you
  • This whole week has been horrible for me. I’ve been in pain and misery all week. My dad never apologized to me. Although I don’t know why he would. Just because he was ‘concerned’ about me doesn’t mean he was going to admit that he was wrong. He didn’t purposefully drop the pan on my foot, but he still never spoke a word about it after that. He’s only come in here once to check on me and that was only because my mom forced him to. He couldn’t care less about me. I’m all alone on a friday evening, no surprise there. Suddenly, there was a knock on my door. It’s probably my mom again.
  • “Come in.” I called, trying to situate myself so that I wasn’t in pain. Taehyung was the last person I expected to walk into my room.
  • “Hi.” He said quietly.
  • “Umm..hi.” I avoided eye contact. I was sort of ashamed I guess. He didn’t ask questions, all he did was gently sit next to me on the bed. He brushed the hair from my face and the look of worry on his face nearly made me laugh. “I’m ok.” Is all I said before he went into a rage.
  • “You’re not ok! You weren’t at school all week! I thought maybe something horrible happened to you and I was right! How can you say you’re fine!?” He was standing up at this point and had brushed his fingers through his hair for the fourth time. I chuckled at him. “What?” He snapped.
  • “You’re funny.” I replied. “I’m ok, I promise.” He sat back down.
  • “Then what happened?”
  • “I dropped a pan on my foot and I had to get surgery because I shattered the bone on the top of my foot.” I explained.
  • “You what!?” He shouted.
  • “Calm down.” I laughed.
  • “Are you sure you’re ok?”
  • “I’m fine. It only hurts when I get up to use the restroom.” I lied. It hurts constantly. I even had to take an ibuprofen earlier to help with the pain.
  • “Well, what can I help you with?” He asked me.
  • “Can you help me to the bathroom?” I asked shyly. “Everytime I get up by myself I end up hurting myself further.”
  • “Your parents don’t help you?” He asked, standing up.
  • “My mom’s at work, my siblings left on Monday, and my Dad couldn’t care less about me. When my mom is home, however, he won’t let her help me. He says that it’s a punishment for me getting a C.”
  • “Really?” He grabbed my hands and helped me stand. Then he handed me my crutches. “So how do you eat?”
  • “My mom sneaks me food when my dad goes to bed and early in the morning before he gets up.”
  • “Wow.” He walked next to me, making sure I didn’t fall, as we walked to the bathroom. “Call me when you’re done.” He walked out of the bathroom and shut the door behind him. I untied my shorts and sat down. I called him in when I was finished. He helped me back to the bed.
  • “Thank you.” I said, finally getting comfortable. He sat next to me.
  • “Anytime. I’ll always be here for you if you need anything so-” I interrupted him.
  • “I’m serious Taehyung. It means a lot to me that you’re doing all this for me.” He smiled at me.
  • “If you need anything else, just let me know, ok?”
  • “I will.” I replied.
  • “And not to impose or anything, but what if I came over tomorrow and we like watch a movie or something.” he continued to ramble. “I mean it doesn’t have to be a movie we could just like talk or something I don’t know but-” I grabbed his shoulders and kissed him softly, shutting him up.
  • “I’d love for you to come over tomorrow.” I said. He sat there stunned until his face flushed and he was beet red. I chuckled.
  • “O-ok.” He stuttered, still sitting there like he saw a ghost.
  • “So….I’ll see you tomorrow.”
  • “Y-yeah. S-sorry.” He shook his head and stood up. “I’ll see you tomorrow.” He walked towards the door.
  • “Taehyung?”
  • “Yeah?” He turned around.
  • “Thanks again.”
  • “Of course.” he winked at me before leaving the room.
