Dark Angel (Jimin & Reader & Seokjin)
  • For several days, I've been thinking about what Y/n told me recently, and I had been unable to rid of the black thoughts that plagued my head more and more. I feared that what was happening to her was not an ordinary dream. Dreams don't just repeat themselves, at least not in our case. Something was very wrong here, and I became increasingly worried that Seokjin had found a way to haunt her in her dreams, even though nothing much like this had ever happened before. I decided to share my suspicions with Namjoon, hoping that he would decide that I was starting to become paranoid and that I didn't really have anything to worry about. I knocked on the door of the room where he had set up his office, and after hearing a quiet invitation, I walked quickly inside.
  • - Hyung, are you very busy? - I asked, seeing that he was going through some papers.
  • - I'm checking colloquiums, but I can take a break. Do you want to talk about something?
  • - Yes, because I'm afraid I'm starting to get paranoid - I sighed heavily and slumped down in the chair in front of the desk - I think I've become oversensitive this time.
  • - Why do you think so? - he put the papers down on the desk and looked at me intently.
  • - Y/n has been walking around thoughtfully for about two weeks and looks very tired. At first I thought it was the fault of her work and the fact that she is so preoccupied with everything, especially since we are slowly starting to get ready for the wedding, but that's not the case. A few days ago she confessed to me that night after night she has the same dream and doesn't know what to think about it. I told her it's probably the result of stress and sheer fatigue, but... the longer I think about it, the more I don't like it.
  • - What does the dream refer to?
  • - Y/n said that at first she always dreams that she's late for our next date, and when she gets to it, there's some kind of black smoke that makes her lose consciousness - I relayed what I learned from my fiancée - later, when she wakes up she's in a completely strange place, some kind of room. I asked her if she was there alone and she said yes, but....
  • - But?
  • - She hesitated slightly, as if she didn't want to tell me something. Hyung, you are the oldest among us and you have dealt with a really large number of demons. Do you think it's possible that one of them can manipulate dreams? So far, Y/n has never uttered even a word about being haunted by dreams. It didn't come during any of her previous incarnations, or at least she didn't mention of anything much like that.
  • - It's difficult for me to answer you this question, because you yourself know very well that the gifts of not only demons, but also ours, are so varied that it's impossible to predict what gift may yet be revealed among the newcomers - Namjoon plunged into his thoughts for a moment - I can only console you that none of the demons I met who were in any way related to Seokjin have such a gift.
  • - And the spells of the ancients? Maybe there was something about it in some book?
  • - In ours probably yes, but you know very well that the main library is perfectly protected and demons have no access to it. Nor will any of the angels take the books outside of it, because it is severely punished. Not to mention that books with manipulation spells are only available to generals and seraphim, and I never had access to them either.
  • - I have no idea how we did it, but the seizure of almost all the books that belonged to the demons has made our lives much easier - I smiled slightly, proud of our brothers' achievement - It's just a pity that there is absolutely no spell that could lead to the bond connecting Y/n and Seokjin being safely broken. I still can't get over the fact that fate had to choose him for her.
  • - I'm sorry, Jimin, but apparently it had to be so - Namjoon smiled sympathetically - although look at it this way, you almost always find her before him, so fate is on your side after all. We just need to find a way for Y/n to survive this time, and I'm sure everything will be fine.
  • - I hope we will succeed this time, because I can't imagine losing her again. Thanks for talking to me, you calmed me down a bit - I rose from my chair, but Namjoon's face made me sit back down - hyung, is something wrong? Why do you have such a face?
  • - Because just now I calmed you down even though I have been seriously thinking about something myself for days.
  • - Hoseok saw something?
  • - Yes, he had a glimpse of the future, but all he saw was Seokjin telling someone to find Y/n. He tried, as always, to expand on this passage, but this time he completely failed, and we came to the conclusion that Yoongi must be blocking him.
  • - Why would he do that when we've known for a long time that they were looking for Y/n? That's completely out of character for Seokjin.
  • - I agree, that's why... we both decided that the point here is not to hide the fact that they are looking for Y/n, but the identity of one of the searchers. According to Hoseok's words, Seokjin spoke in the plural, and this means that someone else besides Yoongi will be looking for her. However, so far he has not trusted anyone other than him in this regard, so....
  • - He recruited someone new with a powerful gift - I cut in on his words.
  • - That's right - he nodded slightly - Yoongi is not shielding himself, let alone Seokjin, but this new demon. And if it is someone really powerful, the risk that he is not yet in control of his gift is quite high. I think the kid must have been a demon for only two years, because if he had appeared at the same time as Taehyung, Hoseok would certainly have sensed him.
  • - Two years ago, neither of us showed up during recruitment, because we were helping Taehyung assimilate back into the mortal world. Admittedly, the group of newcomers was much smaller at that time, but that completely does not affect whether someone with a powerful gift will appear or not - I rubbed my forehead, just realizing the seriousness of the situation - how likely is it to be two new demons and not just one?
  • - Extremely small - replied Namjoon - such powerful gifts as mine or Seokjin's are really rare, so I am one hundred percent sure that he recruited only one demon. What bothers me more is that someone so young and probably not yet in full control of his gift would seek out Y/n.
  • - I don't think Seokjin would risk that much. Even though he's a demon,Y/n is exactly the only person he really cares about, so I doubt he'll bring such a risk to her. Well, unless he and Yoongi both have perfect control over this young demon. Only in that situation he would allow him to join not only his immediate circle, but also the search itself.
  • - You're probably right, but that doesn't change the fact that we'll have to be more careful. I've already contacted some of the angels who have their contacts on the other side, but so far zero response - Namjoon sighed heavily once again that day - Seokjin is perfectly on guard and his men don't even slip anything. It will be a miracle if we can find out anything about him. Which doesn't mean we should give up.
  • - And I have no intention of doing so - I rose from my chair and sent Namjoon a smile - I'll be watching everything carefully, but this week nothing much is likely to happen. Especially since I'm going to take Y/n out of town this weekend to make sure she finally gets at least some rest. That's why even if they show up in town, I'm sure we'll have time to track them down before they run into her trail.
