Book two: Darkest times
  • William looked to Damien. "Basically, Eric will give up sooner or later. And those girls don't do *. So they are weaker than he is. There is nothing they can do."
  • Damien nodded his head. "Alright…if you say so."
  • "We need to eat before getting down to studying under William's kids." Reyna said seriously to Damien
  • "Right…Right." Damien said before he looked at William. "Have the others returned yet?"
  • "No, I haven't felt the aura of Zeph yet around here. They must be pretty busy if they haven't come back yet."
  • "That or they are resting elsewhere." Reyna stated
  • " Which may be the case. You two need to eat before we begin training. I will not allow the two of you to get light headed and become ill due to lack of nourishment." william stated seriously
  • The duo nodded their heads before they went to get something to eat, when they found a place they saw that Blaine and Darren were serving food to the demi-gods. They smiled as they saw the duo. "Hey guys. C'mon over. We'll get you two served up so you two can get started with what ya gotta do." Darren said with a smile
  • The duo went over towards the twins as they were quick to make plates for the two of them. Once they sat down to eat, Damien was rather shocked at how well the two of them were able to cook, he didn't think that anyone of the royal family knew how to cook well. Reyna knew how and why the twins knew how to cook and she smiled at the twins as they came to sit with the two of them.
  • "Uncle Armani taught you two well." Reyna said with a smile
  • Blaine smiled a bit. "Thanks Reyna, You know, I really hope that things go well with you. I don't want Luma to take over Militia."
  • Darren nodded his head in agreement. "Yeah, we don't want her to be the one in charge."
  • "Luma's the one that is the entitled * of your sisters right?" Damien asked Reyna
  • Reyna choked on her food before she coughed and swallowed what she had in her mouth. "Damien! Can you not when I'm trying to eat?!"
  • He laughed a bit. "Not sorry."
  • "*.." she muttered before she sighed out and she looked at him unamused. "But to answer your question-yes…yes she is."
  • "That's placing it lightly." Darren said
  • Damien raised an eyebrow at Darren's remark. "What do you mean by that?"
  • "She is the epitome of being a spoiled ass princess. Whatever she wants, nine out of ten she gets." Darren said with a sigh
  • "The one percent being the sword that Reyna now possesses. She still *es about not being able to have the sword wanting it for herself. It's rather obvious that Luma doesn't understand how important that sword is and what it takes to wield such an important sword." Blaine said shaking his head
  • Damien shook his head a bit as he heard what the two males stated, it was rather obvious that the eldest female of the royal demonic line wasn't the best person to be around. Reyna was quick to finish eating before she went to the empty temple as she knew the credentials that it would take to make the temple into someone's temple. She chose to make the temple a shared temple between Tina and Tyche since she'll be having both of their help within the time she'd be within the large city that once belonged to the founders.
  • Once Reyna finished Tina and Tyche both came down and they were stunned to see just what reyna did to make the temple theirs. Tyche smiled at Reyna proudly. "I am surprised to see that you've done this."
  • Reyna bowed her head towards the two females. "It is because of the two of you that I live the life I do now. I want to honor those who have given me the blessing of the life that I live."
  • Tina went up to her and hugged her tightly. "Oh you are such a beautiful child! You've made this place perfect for us!"
  • Reyna looked rather flustered at the raven haired goddess. "I-I'm grateful to the two of you. I wanted to be sure that you two knew that."
  • "Well this certainly shows where your loyalty lies." Tina said happily
  • "I also wanted to do something about this place before Eric manages to break his way into this place."
  • Both of them looked at her confused. "What do you mean by that child?" Tyche asked confused
  • "Eric with Sola, Luna and Astral are all outside of the barrier trying to get in." Reyna said sadly
  • Tina took a deep breath to calm herself before she looked at Reyna seriously. "Show me where they are."
  • She nodded her head and did just that. When they went to the side where they were, only Eric was persistent enough to keep trying as the girls were sitting down tiredly on the ground. Tina walked through the barrier making Eric walk back a few paces.
  • "So…you are helping that brat!"
  • Tina looked at him with a stoic expression. "So this is what your life has gotten to huh? You once were on my side, you once helped me out. Where did that loyalty go?"
  • "I was never loyal to you! Amara told me if I killed those who had your blood that I'd become immortal again! That I'd be able to take my place once more-but he lied to me! Now I want the death of that brat you're helping."
  • "He may not have lied, you see-one of my blood still lives. He works hand in hand with the woman of prophet. I will also like to tell you that you are acting foolish. The one in charge above has changed." Tina said seriously
  • Eric scoffed. " Yeah right! Like I'd ever believe that bull *!"
  • "I have taken his place, you should know how much I was a 'good little follower' to that man. But that only was until he showed his true colors, which is when I turned it against him and killed him myself." Tina said seriously. "I have taken his place and have the ability to take and give those I see fit god like powers. It is why the *es who were the siblings to Ryse no longer have their powers as gods."
  • Eric looked at her in disbelief. "Wait…whoa….Hold up- hold up- hold up…Are you telling me that you now hold the power of all gods?"
  • She nodded her head. "Yes. That is correct."
  • He sighed in defeat. "*."
  • "That is the correct response. I must tell you that I am disappointed that you've done what you have. Had you gone to one of my temples and talked to me every now and then I would have offered you the choice of coming back up to the world of the gods. But you chose to corrupt yourself and the life you live." Tina said sadly as she shook her head
  • Eric was silent for a bit before he sighed out. "Tell me this much, is Amara yanking my chain? Is he truly in the right?"
  • Tina shook her head. "Goodness no. He wishes to kill an innocent woman. She in every sense of the way is one. She hasn't once spilt the blood of anyone nor has she ever gotten close to anyone. The reason behind why he is after her is because she has helped the elders of her demonic blood to be with their child." Tina said seriously
  • Eric looked at Tina confused. "Wait what? I didn't think he liked the demon race?"
  • "He doesn't, but he made an exception for those two cause they were killed in what was supposed to be a safe zone for the female to be able to give birth to her child-but the two demons were killed by angels that were under Emilia's ruling. They didn't kill the child so Amara had paused the life of the child until the two were rebirthed as felines. It took them more than ten years to find their daughter. The woman of prophet had helped them get to the duo quicker."
  • Eric sighed out and rubbed between his eyes. "Wow I'm *ing stupid as hell." He muttered to himself
  • Tina placed her hands up. "You said it not me."
  • Eric looked at her seriously. "I want to do the right thing, I want to earn my god hood again."
  • Tina smiled. "I'm all for that, but you must take an oath before you do so."
  • He nodded his head. "Sure. What do I need to do."
  • "Kneel down and place your left hand out."
  • Eric did as he was told only for him to feel a stinging pain on his hand, he hissed out but said nothing.
  • "Repeat after me."
  • He nodded his head as he looked at her dead in the eyes.
  • "I hereby make a blood oath to the Goddess Tina to do as she says and protect her followers."
  • "I hereby make a blood oath to the Goddess Tina to do as she says and protect her followers."
  • "I will repent for my sins against the Wright family and work with those against Amara until I have earned what I have lost."
  • "I will repent for my sins against the Wright family and work with those against Amara until I have earned what I have lost."
  • Tina smiled and she placed her hand over his making him hiss out in pain for a few seconds before he felt himself become slightly stronger than he had been. He got up and he looked at Tina confused. "What have you done to me?"
  • "I have given you the power of a Demigod. That is where you will start Eric, I will allow you safe passage into the barrier since you will now be working for me. In time I wish for you to become the new god of the sun. Will you accept your role?"
  • "As that role what will it pertain?"
  • Tina smiled. "That role pertains to getting your own temple in each kingdom, you are going to be responsible for the rise and fall of the sun. It will be up to you to find someone to be your counterpart as the moon."
  • Eric was in thought for a moment before he looked at Tina. "You truly aren't going to let Sola, Luna and Astral back into their positions are you?"
  • Tina shook her head. "Luna had placed dark magic within the blade of Ryse and they moved her sword without her knowing into Yasmin's Domain. Then when they were summoned they were automatically rude and inconsiderate to Reyna. They talked down to her as if she was a nobody when she's done so much at the age she is at."
  • "How old is she?"
  • "Fifteen."
  • Eric backed up a few feet. "No…no way. T-That can't be right. Amara made her out to be a grown ass adult! I'm not murdering a child!"
  • "I'm glad that you think that. Amara is peeved at her for what she's done, now you have time to figure out who you wish to have as your counterpart. For now I need you to help William-One of Ryse's children with getting Reyna and my last blood child Damien to be strong enough to take Amara down."
  • Eric nodded his head as he bowed to her. "It'd be my pleasure Tina."
  • Tina allowed him in and she stood by him as she saw that William and the others were by Reyna and Tyche. William narrowed his eyes at Tina. "I hope you have a good explanation to what we all just saw."
  • "Oh I do, Eric was given a punishment that he has fulfilled ten times over. I have given him this only chance to prove that he has earned his god hood by helping Damien and Reyna out. When he does, he will be the new god of the sun." Tina said seriously "He and I are under blood oath. He cannot break it. He will not harm Reyna or Damien. He will not harm anyone who is under this place of protection."
  • Eric looked at Reyna and he bowed his head respectfully. "I will be helping you where I can, I wish for you to take down that man who has warped my mind."
  • "I will gladly take the help, the more people that help me the better. Now I do have a question. Your chaotic minions…can you dismiss them?"
  • Eric looked at her confused. "I swore that Tina and her crew had killed them all."
  • "I thought the same but I have seen them run amuck around the forest area between the vampire and fae forests."Tina said seriously
  • Eric was in thought for a moment. "The only thing that I can think of is that Amara has risen them from the darkness of this world. They are created by darkness and chaos, they are as strong as the person who rises them up from the chaotic magic around the world. If they are between the Fae and Vampires it means that there is trouble there."
  • "Do you think that Amara will be there too?" Reyna asked concerned
  • Eric shook his head no. "I don't think he would be, if the caster is where the creatures are they are less strong because of their presences. But he is around this forest waiting for you Reyna, I know what his weaknesses are and I can help you and Damien know them and bring that lying scheming mother *er down."
  • Reyna smiled a little at him. "Alright, I look forward to learning from you."
  • "Before you do, have you mastered the elements of your birth blood?" Eric asked
  • She shook her head. "I barely know any magic. I'm a lover not a fighter."
  • Eric hummed out. "That'll be difficult when you face off with Amara, but I'll work around it. Master the elements then seek me out. I need to do some hard thinking." Eric said before he walked off
  • William then placed a hand on Reyna's shoulder. "I hope you are ready for the hell that I'm going to place you through."
  • "I'm ready to be stronger William, I'll do whatever it takes to be stronger." She said seriously as she looked up at him
  • "That's good to hear. Your first lesson will be with Malo, when he thinks you're ready to move on you will, until then you will listen to him." William said seriously before he looked at Damien. "That goes double for you Damien."
  • "Yes of course sir." Damien said with a nod of his head
  • Malo went in front of them before he grinned. "Alright princess, Damien. I want to see what the both of you can do before we do anything."
  • Reyna placed her hand out and she was able to make a blue flame which made a ring around her arm before it disappeared.
  • "Huh…interesting. I've never seen fire do that before. Damien?" Malo inquired
  • Damien tried to make fire appear but he couldn't. "I've never used magic before, so I don't know how to go about making anything appear." He said honestly
  • Malo sighed out. "That would stop you."
  • Reyna went in front of him and she placed her hands in his. "It's okay, I had to learn on my own how to use my magic that I do have. Find your center, your peace."
  • He shut his eyes and did what she told him. "Alright…now what?"
  • "Feel my energy over your hands. Once you can let me know."
  • It was a few seconds before he was able to and he notified her before she moved away from him. "Think of the brightest warmth of flames you can think of."
  • Once he did there was a large flame that was inside of his hand, she clapped her hand and he opened his eyes to see that he had finally used his magic. "W-wow! So this is magic?!"
  • "Mhm, you can do much more than just make Fire appear Damien." Reyna said with a smile "I will say as a pointer that fire magic can heal us as demons. As Ice and water can heal Angels."
  • "Which would make sense as to why one of your marked mates is a water elemental." Damien said with a grin
  • "Marked mate or not, doesn't mean anything to me. What does is the words 'I love you' with meaning behind them." Reyna said before she looked at Malo. "So what did you wanna teach us?"
  • "Since you two aren't well versed in fire magic, I'm going to show you two how to use your fire magic for good. Amara hates fire, so that'll be your strong point while you two are against him." Malo said seriously
  • Reyna nodded her head. "Of course. So what's first?!" Reyna asked excitedly
  • Malo taught them the basics first, while he did the others watched their elder brother to see what they'd need to do to teach the duo about their own element. While they did William talked with Tina about what was going on.
  • "Tina, are you certain you wish for Eric to be here?"
  • "As I said, we are bonded together by blood contract. Until the contract is up he cannot hurt anyone. If after the contract is over he steps over-you are more than welcome to beat the * outta him."
  • Hearing that William was rather amused. "I wonder what my mother will say about you having her ex be here."
  • Tina raised an eyebrow at William. "Say what now? How do you know that Eric and Ryse dated?"
  • "My *ty ass father keeps sulking about how the last argument the two of them had was about how bad he was as a lover and the fact that my mother made the mention that she should have stayed around Eric-cause at least then she'd feel something. The fact that she had my siblings and I were a miracle. Cause she barely felt anything and would always fake it for his sake."
  • Tina covered her mouth as her eyes widened. "Oh *!"
  • "I'm surprised you didn't know that. She's supposed to be your best friend right?" William said amused
  • "Just because we're besties doesn't mean that we know everything about one another. There are things that we hide from one another that isn't worth noting." Tina stated with her arms crossed
  • "Uh-huh…So you're just gonna trust the guy? You aren't going to question him walking off on his own?"
  • "He can't use any magic, so he's fine. He's mostly muscle anyways." tina said with a shrug
  • William shrugged and shook his head. "Why do I even try to talk to you, you aren't going to see things how I do."
  • "Of course I won't, I know Eric a lot more than you do."
  • "Oh really?" William said with a raised eyebrow
  • "Mhm, He and I are around the same age." Tina said with a nod of her head
  • He was silent for a moment before he sighed out. "So do you know what he'd be 'thinking' about?"
  • "Yes actually, he murdered my blood line from when I was forced to be human. All but one ended up dying. Amara never liked me, or the fact that I had done what I had."
  • William raised an eyebrow at her. "Really? What about what you did, didn't he like?"
  • "Amara thrives off of chaos and death, what she did went against the natural way of this world many eons ago." Eric said seriously
  • William looked at Eric skeptical. "What do you mean by that?"
  • Eric sighed out as he crossed his arms. "The world of Iaclomar was supposed to go into chaos and darkness many eons ago-about the time that she was sent back to this place. It was due to a large scale fight between us that she left to begin with. I had made her life a living hell up until Zeus had kicked me down to be a mortal. I was supposed to go back up two decades ago-but I had no idea that Zeus was taken down by Tina herself."
  • "You mean by her marrying off to the kingdoms she lessened the chaos and darkness in this world?" William questioned
  • Eric nodded his head. "That's correct. You weren't even created by that time, so I don't expect you to know the trouble that Tina went through."
  • William looked taken back, "just because I wasn't born around the time that it happened, doesn't mean that I don't understand what she went through. She's my friend, I worry for her."
  • Tina went between the two of them placing her hands out on either side of her to keep the males from getting anywhere near one another. "Now-now boys. Calm your ego's. Eric, you and I have a past. I get that and I know you want to make sure that it doesn't repeat. But antagonizing Ryse's eldest child isn't the way to go about redeeming yourself."
  • "Ryse had children? Who the * married her and had kids with her?" He asked dumbfounded
  • "My father is the Andre, the god of darkness and creator of the dragon familiars that the angelic bond with." William stated
  • Eric looked at Tina with a skeptical look. "You've got to be kidding me, she married that player?"
  • Tina sighed out. "I did warn her. She doesn't take warnings all that well Eric, you know that better than I do."
  • Eric sighed out and rubbed between his eyes before he looked at William. "Listen here kid, I know this world better than you do. For * sakes I've seen all of the changes that have been made to it after I *ed up. I get that you're friends with Tina and all, but you don't know the amount of danger Reyna truly is in. You don't know Amara like we do. Granted Tina has never seen Amara face to face but that doesn't mean she doesn't know what he can and can't do."
  • Tina nodded her head in agreement. "You've been sheltered due to who your father is, your father is actually Amara's younger brother."
  • William was quiet for a bit, before he spoke. "Is that why he didn't come here to aid Reyna? He doesn't want to disrespect his elder brother?"
  • Tina nodded his head. "That is exactly why. I actually ended up confronting him about it last night after the bull * that happened with Sola, Astral and Luna happened. He told me the reason he didn't come down was because he didn't want to feel the wrath of his elder brother. That blood is thicker than water."
  • William face palmed himself before he sighed out. "My father is a child, I swear."
  • Eric laughed a bit. "You don't know the half of it kid."
  • William turned to the side to see how Reyna and Damien were doing to see that one of Damiens spells had gone wild, he pushed Tina and Eric out of the way using his cape to absorb the magic. He then looked at Damien who looked apologetic.
  • "Sorry William."
  • "You are fine child, you are still in the learning process of what to do. I'm not going to fault you for that. Are you okay, it didn't burn you did it?" William asked
  • Damien shook his head. "No, it didn't."
  • "Good, be more careful and try not to use too much of your magic. Unless you want that to happen again."
