Damien and Reyna worked with Milo for two months before they were tested by Tina herself on what they were capable of doing. When they both had gotten her down to her knees using their fire magic she knew they both were ready to move onto the next Element. She used her staff to get up as she smiled proudly at both of them.
"Well done both of you, I'm proud of both of you! You two are ready for the next element." Tina said with a smile
Aquina smiled at the duo. "Alrighty! My turn! Now that you have mastered working with Fire, what you'll need to learn from me should be rather easy."
Reyna nodded her head. "It should be easy for me because of Zeph."
Aquina nodded her head. "Mhm, I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do Reyna. For us to do the lessons for water we're going to be going to the center of the water source for this kingdom. So follow me the both of you."
The two of them followed Aquina to the waterfall where she took her shoes and socks off. Reyna and Damien followed suit and went into the water with her.
"To be able to work with water, you must let the water become part of who you are. I first want the two of you to concentrate on the sound of the waterfall and see if you can pull water around you as a barrier." Aquina said before she showed them what she was looking for which took her only a few minutes to do.
She then broke the barrier by walking out of it letting the water fall down into the river once more. Reyna and Damien spaced themselves from one another before they concentrated on the waterfall around them. As they did, Reyna's group came back and was loud to announce themselves. William flew up to where Nala and Hyun were to shush them and motioned for them to follow him. They did quietly before they were taken into the castle.
"What's going on Lord William?" Nala asked curiously
"Damien and Reyna are learning what they need to learn for the elements to take down Amara together. It must be only them for her to survive without it resulting in anyone else's death but Amara's. They have just mastered using Fire, now they are onto Water." William explained before he looked at Zeph. "I would highly suggest that you go to where they are now and help Aquina out. I don't have to tell you whom she is, do I?"
Zeph's eyes widened as he shook his head. "No…no you don't. I will go there now." He said before he got off of Hyun and rushed off
"Who is she?" Ella asked confused
"She is one of my first children, she is the demi god of water." William stated
"Demigod? I never knew there was such a thing." Avery stated confused
Milo came into where they had been with his arms crossed. "Well champ there are…We are a few of the many Demi-gods out there child. We aren't the only ones that my father has either. But we are the ones that are loyal to him."
"Stating that there are those who aren't?" Hyun asked
Milo nodded his head. "Yes, there are those who are demigods that want nothing more than to make life a living hell for those who are full gods. Wanting to prove their power and strength to become a full fledged god in the eyes of the ruler of all gods-Tina. But Tina doesn't see those who have turned their back to their elders as worthy people to be gods."
"I see…so how has Reyna been? Has she been okay without us here?" Ella asked concerned
Milo smiled. "She was concerned at first-but after the first week she stopped being concerned and she focused on her magic. There is much for the lot of you to know about what is going on so allow my father and I to explain everything to the lot of you so you are in the know."
When Zeph managed to get to where Aquina was, she smiled at the dark skinned male. "Oh Prince Zeph, just in time. Reyna is having a hard time concentrating herself. Mind giving her a hand?"
When Reyna heard Zeph's name she opened her eyes and looked to the side to see him. "Zeph! Does that mean the others are back too?!"
Zeph smiled at her. "Yes…Yes it does. I was told to come here to help out." Zeph said before he took his shoes and socks off, he then went in front of her and he placed his hands in hers. "Now princess, look only at me and calm yourself."
Reyna was more than happy to do as he said as she held onto his hands tightly, she took a deep breath as she had her eyes on Zeph for a bit. Zeph smiled as he felt her body calm down.
"Good, you're doing good princess. Now shut your eyes and feel the water all around you-take in all of its magical essence into you. Become one with the water around you." Zeph said softly to her
She shut her eyes and did as he said as he slowly moved away from her only to see that she was soon able to make the protection shield around her. She opened her eyes to see that it was around her.
"W-Whoa…D-Did I do that?"
Zeph smiled. "Yes you did, that was amazing Princess."
At that time Damien was able to do the same thing which made Aquina happy. "Alright! That's good! Both of you did a good job. Zeph mind helping me teach the two of them until we're done here?"
"Of course, it'd be my honor to help you out Aquina." Zeph said with a smile
Aquina had him work with Reyna as she worked with Damien. Zeph enjoyed the one on one time that he got with Reyna, it made him feel like he had a bond with her. While he worked with her he was able to get rather close to her, after a month of working with her alone he wanted to see what she was able to do. He had her mimic what he did only for her to be able to do it rather quickly. It made him rather happy inside to see what she was able to do because of his help. As he tested her William went to check up on the two of them only to see that Zeph was doing a rather good job with helping Reyna out which impressed him.
"I was worried that Aquina didn't judge you right to help her out-but I see that I was wrong. You two are ahead of what Damien has been able to do." William said, impressed.
"Thank you Lord William. I do believe Reyna has learnt all that I know now." Zeph said bowing his head with a smile
"That's good to hear, you two stay here-I will get Tina."
Once William was gone Zeph went up to her and he cupped her face in his hands before he kissed her on the lips. "You've done such a good job with listening to me, I'm so glad that we came back when we did so I could help you out. I've enjoyed the time that I've gotten to be around you."
Reyna looked at him flustered. "T-Thanks to you being such an amazing teacher I've been able to do as well as I have. And I'm glad we've been able to have this time together too. I've been too used to being around Avery and I've had so much time around Hyun too-I never got to have time alone with you before. So this time I very much cherished Zeph."
Zeph was very happy to hear what he had from her, it made him feel like the two of them were actually becoming closer to one another. Tina soon made herself known and she smiled at Reyna. "So, William tells me that Zeph believes you've learnt all you need to learn. I want to test what you know and if you are able to hold your own then I will give you a passing mark on it."
Reyna nodded her head firmly. "Yes M'lady."
Zeph moved to the side and the two females went head to head with one another. Tina used her fire and water magic on Reyna as Reyna blocked and only used her water magic on Tina which blasted her into a nearby tree. Tina got up holding her staff as she panted out. "Holy hell that was a strong gust of water. You definitely passed Reyna, no one has knocked me back like that in centuries."
Reyna smiled. "Thank you Goddess Tina. I have Zeph to thank for that." She said with a smile
Tina looked at Zeph impressed. "You've done well to help your marked mate out Zeph, in my eyes you've made your statement to be kept at her side."
Zeph looked at Tina confused. "W-What do you mean by that?"
Tina sighed out. "Once everything is all said and done, Reyna must choose whom she will end up with in the end, She has four choices. You three she is bound to or the demonic male you all saved from Amara's cult. All of your bonds with her aren't strong enough for her to make a choice yet, when it comes time she must choose one and that is who she will be queen with in this very kingdom which she will make as her own."
"And what if she doesn't choose?" Zeph asked
Tina sighed out. "If she doesn't choose, she must be ready for what will happen to her after that. But for now I do believe the two of you should rest, I have been watching the two of you rather closely and you two work more than Aquina does with Damien. You two must rest before Reyna does her next lesson."
Both of them bowed to Tina before they went to the others, who were talking amongst themselves. When Reyna and Zeph got close to them they stopped talking. Avery went up to Reyna and hugged her tightly. "Rey!"
Reyna happily hugged him back. "Heya Ave. How have you been?"
"It's been boring without you." Avery said honestly
Ella nodded her head in agreement. "Lord William stated to us that it has to be you and Damien that has to take down Amara to get the best result for you…so we've been bored out of our mind."
Reyna was in thought for a moment before she looked at Ella. "Ella, Goddess Sandra had stated that things were off in your parents' kingdom, yes?"
Ella slowly nodded her head. "Yeah…what about it?"
"Take Hyun and Zeph with you to your kingdom. Have them help you out with what's going on. You are the first born you need to be there." Reyna stated seriously "If anything happens Zeph and Hyun can come back if need be."
Ella looked concerned. "Alright…if you say so, Reyna."
"I'm concerned for your people Ella-I know you want to be able to help me out. But there is no way you'll be able to help me out if you don't have a kingdom to hail from." Reyna said seriously
Ella let out a sigh, knowing that she was telling the truth. "Alright…I'll go back with them. Please be careful."
Reyna hugged her tightly. "I will, I promise."
Ella hugged her back before Hyun, Zeph and her left the protection of the kingdom. Reyna then looked at Nala. "I know you hate it back home-but I need you to go home with Joel and Shadow. I need you to see if my grandfather Lord Onyx was able to dethrone my father and place order back into the kingdom."
Nala nodded her head. "Let me go get Joel and Shadow quick like!" She said before she rushed off
Reyna then looked at Avery. "You're staying at my side after what happened to you, Mister. I don't want anything bad to happen to you. Anyways-we need to have a long heart to heart talk. Which I will have with Hyun and Zeph when they come back."
"Yes ma'am."
"We're going to have a sit down together, so let's get somewhere comfortable and we can talk from there."
The two of them went into the castle before going into a room that was full of fluffy large pillows on the ground. Once both of them were sitting down, Reyna took her boots off and she let out a relieved sigh. She hated having to constantly wear her damn boots. Avery looked at her concerned, he knew that she had a lot on her plate and he knew damn well that things were going to get only worse for her as time went on.
"Rey..what's going on with you? What do you know that the rest of us don't?" Avery asked concerned
"Well…there's a lot going on babe. For starters there's going to be a change in gods very soon and there's nothing we can do about it. Then there's Amara…the *ing * was once a follower of Bryce-but chose to go against his teachings."
Avery looked at her stunned. "No way."
"Way…I wouldn't lie to you. I have no reason to." Reyna said with a sigh as she leaned back against the pillow she was on
"So what did you need to talk to Zeph, Hyun and I about that's so important?" Avery asked concerned
"All three of you are marked to be with me, you are aware of that, yes?" She stated as she looked at him
He nodded his head. "Yes, I'm well aware of that."
She let out a tired sigh as she frowned before she placed her right arm over her eyes. "I've been speaking on and off to the goddess of Love and she has made it rather clear that if none of you step up, that you three will lose your markings and connection to me in a loving matter. That I will have free rein to be around whomever I wish to be around."
"I thought we were pretty close? You literally saved my dumb ass from death-is that not a sign of you loving me?" Avery asked
"I had asked, and she said 'no'. I had asked why and she said that it could be reasoned that the mark that I have for the wraiths could be a reason as to why I chose to help you through your bull *. I could see where she's coming from. As of now, there has been no declaration of love from any of you. Only assumptions here and there about things." Reyna explained
Avery couldn't believe what he was hearing from Reyna. "You're joking right? You're telling me right now that all the time we had together means nothing right now?! Then why the * do I even have the mark I have for you?!" Avery said irate
Reyna shot up hearing the irate tone in his voice. "Avery, calm your tits. You boys never once ever spoke the words 'I love you' to me or anything close to that. So I don't know why you're getting so *ing *y!"
Avery scoffed and glared at her. "I'd rather die at the hands of my father and grandfather than deal with this *. I hereby renounce my pact with you Princess Reyna. The call of the wraiths will go to my next in line brother. I will no longer hear your call and be called yours to command! I renounce being your marked mate as well-if I cannot show my love for you in my own way then I minus well never love you at all! * you and I hope you have a better *ing life without me."
He then left the room slamming the door behind him, when he did he could hear Reyna screaming out in pain but chose not to look behind him. Reyna was in tears as she held onto her right side where her wraith mark was throbbing and bleeding as well as her left hip where her mark was burning her skin. Reyna ended up passing out from the amount of pain she was in. The person who ended up finding her was Stella, she gasped out when she saw the blood that came from her arm.
She bolted out of the room and she went to find William in a panic. When she found the pink haired male she was frantic. "Lord william! There's a problem! A-A really big problem!" Stella stated frantically
William looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "What seems to be the problem?"
"It's my cousin Reyna! S-She's out cold and her arm where the wraith mark is-is bleeding!"
William didn't know what that meant for her. "I hate doing this but we need to call upon Tina. The fastest way to do that is to go to the only temple here and pray to her. Do you know how to properly pray to a goddess?"
Stella frowned and shook her head no. "I-I was never taught."
"I know how, I can get Goddess Tina down." Damien said seriously
William looked at the demon male sadly. "If you can, it'd be helpful. I fear what has just happened to the princess."
The three of them went to the temple and Tina was already there-she looked very peeved as she was pacing. When she saw William, Damien and Stella she stopped. "No need to summon me…I'm going to *ing kill Avery!" She said irate
"The prince of the wraiths *ed you off…how?" Stella asked
Tina tried to calm herself before she let out a deep breath. "I was overseeing the conversation between Reyna and Avery. I had to be sure that Avery wasn't going to completely * up…and he did. He not only renounced himself from Reyna's side as the commanding Wraith at her side but as her marked mate as well. In doing what he had to her, he has chosen to make her weaker. Without a bonded wraith, Reyna will not be able to completely master all of the elements she needs."
"Can't she bond herself to one of his many siblings?" Stella asked
Tina nodded her head. "She can, but only if they're willing." She said before she placed her hand up. "Hold up…I'm being summoned. I'll be right back."
Tina left in a glow of light, William sighed out. "This is going to be bad-very very bad if she cannot have someone to summon for a wraith. She needs that bond or she will be *ed."
Tina soon came back with a man who was slightly taller than Avery that wore rather dark clothing and his hair over his left eye. "We're not at a loss. This is Riki, Avery's first younger brother. Avery had returned and stated that he wasn't going to go forth and help Reyna out if his actions meant nothing. Riki knows better than to think that and wants to help Reyna out, he is worried about the girl."
William smiled at the young male. "It's good to see a man who knows how to use his head. I do believe Reyna will be happy to see a familiar face that is willing to help her out."
"I hope so too…Where is reyna?" Riki asked concerned
"She is unconscious right now. Your brother is a complete *wad. He has chosen to part ways from her in every way possible making her be as she is now. For her to wake up, she needs you to make a bond pact with her." William stated
"Then that's what I'll do. I'll protect her no matter what." riki said seriously
Stella took him to where Reyna was unconscious. Riki quickly went to her side and went to his knees as he placed his hands over where hers were. "Prince to Princess-Wraith to Demon, I hereby give my life and blood to protect you. I hereby give you all consent to summon me as you need or wish." He said seriously
There was a purple glow under their hands before Reyna gasped out for air. She looked to the side of her only to see that it was Riki. She teared up and she hugged the male tightly. "Riki…Your brother is an *."
Riki hugged her back and shut his eyes as he sighed out. "I'm well aware of that, if I could I would kill that * for going against his pact with you."
Tina then spoke up. "There is an unknown rule between demons and wraiths that Tyche and I have made up in case something like this happened."
Riki and Reyna looked at Tina confused. "What rule is that?" Reyna asked as she got up
"It's one that probably now should be known to all demons and wraiths. If a wraith or demon breaks the pact between wraith and demon. The person who they broke the pact with after being placed with a new demon or wraith has all rein to kill the person who betrayed the blood pact between the two of them." Tina stated
"S-So you're saying that I could go and kill Avery for what he's done to me." Reyna questioned
Tina nodded her head. "Yes, that is after you kill Amara."
"Riki is not bonded to me by mark, would he be able to stand by me and help Damien and I?"
"I do not see why not, but it is best to ask Toni that."
Reyna frowned as she sighed out. "I don't know how to go about praying to him. He isn't one of the few that have helped me a lot in the past."
William spoke up. "I'll get my brother, you stay here where you're protected Reyna."
She nodded her head. "Okay, thank you Lord William."
Once William left, Riki got up and he noticed the marking on his hand. "Goddess Tina, this marking on my hand…is it because I'm now bonded to Reyna?"
Tina smiled. "Yes, yes it is. I am proud to call you one of my created children Riki. I do hope you do better than your elder brother."
"So do I…I may not be a pacifist like he is. But I do wish to help Reyna out in any way possible."
"I am well aware of you not being a pacifist. For this next part of Reyna's life-she'll need all the help she can get." Tina said seriously "I must ask, what are you capable of doing?"
"From sword play, to using daggers-hell even magic. I got that all locked down. While my father was busy dolting on my elder brother I practiced all the time with Reyna. She helped me get to where I am now." Riki said with a grin
Tina was stunned to hear the words that came out of the young wraith male. "I'm stunned that she even considered helping you out."
"As much as I knew that Avery and I would have to work together-I wanted to bond with his brother and sisters as well. Not many of them wanted my attention, the one who really made an impact on me while I lived there was Riki. He's a great friend and I'm glad he's here at my side instead of his incapable brother." Reyna explained
Tina smiled at the duo before she placed her hand against the mark on Reyna's arm and the mark on Riki's hand. "From here on out-this bond is forever the bond that connects the wraiths and the demons. Riki you will get the strength that I had once blessed your elder brother with. That blessing no longer is with that male who has turned his head and back towards Reyna. I hereby give you the strength of a thousand of your people. Your strength, magic and senses will all be heightened until Amara is dead. Once it is confirmed that the reaper of death is no more, your power will be as it should."
Reyna and Riki looked at one another with a smile before they looked at Tina. Tina then kissed the top of their heads before she looked at Damien. "Damien if all works out it won't be just the two of you, please do take care of her. Make sure that nothing bad happens to her."
"Yes. Of course. I promise you on my life that I will take care of the Princess."
"Good, I'm glad to hear that."
Tina nodded her head firmly before she saw Toni and William. Toni looked at Reyna and he gave her a small smile. "Your time has changed, child."
"Is that a good or bad thing?" Riki asked confused
"For her-a good thing. You see all of the bad outcomes that I've seen-it has always been because of your brother going head first into things without thinking and without orders. With what she has done and what he has done to himself, no matter what she does be it alone or with others. She will come out the winner, Amara is *ed." Toni stated
William chuckled a bit. "Well *, had we known it was because of one male's incapability to listen I would have suggested Reyna to let go that male before now."
"Had that been the case she would have been the one dead. It was best to have him do so and have someone else in his place." Toni stated
"So I see, when her companions come back they will be able to help her then?" William asked
Toni nodded his head. "Yes, I've been working with Tyche to make sure that things work out in the best way possible."
Reyna and Damien looked stunned to hear what Toni had stated. "Is it because of the things that have already happened to Reyna?" Damien asked
Toni nodded his head. "I don't like that she has gone through so much * just for her to deal with more because of an * that happens to be my father's brother. Amara needs to be placed down." Toni stated seriously
Tina nodded her head in agreement. "I don't like what he's done and what he's said to Eric."
