Chapter Eleven
Avery had no idea what had happened to the innocent young woman that he had once known and been around. It was obvious that she had a lot of time to grow and mature. He didn't know how to take what she had said. Reyna then looked at him which made him stiffen up seeing the serious look on her face. "Under no circumstances are you to follow me when I am to face Amara. You are to go back home and wait until you see Zeph and Hyun. They will be your signal to know that peace will come soon."
Avery nodded his head and left out without a word, he knew better than to try to talk back to her. Especially when he had already harmed her. When Avery was gone Reyna looked at Ryse seriously. "Let's get this show on the road. I have a dead corpse to kill."
Ryse grinned happily. "There's that determination!" She said excitedly
Zeph placed his hand on Reyna's arm softly where the mark for his people was. "I will be here to protect you while you do so."
She nodded her head. "Of course. I'll be out of the sword as soon as I possibly can."
Riki went onto the other side of her to steady her as Reyna went back into the sword once more. That time as she managed to transform herself into both her angelic and demonic side she felt a huge wave of power surge into her that made her body glow and shimmer. Ryse became a part of her. Reyna could hear the voice of Ryse within her mind.
Now that I am a part of who you are you are within the stage of life between life and death, you'll be able to face Amara head on and be able to defeat him with the strength and knowledge that you now bare.
Reyna was happy to hear the words that Ryse said and pulled herself out of the sword. She looked to Zeph and Riki-"I want you boys to gather everyone into the city center by sun down. I will be taking Nala and Hyun with me so I can defeat Amara quick enough to be able to go and deal with the problems between Militia and Oakheart."
"Yes ma'am." they said before they left out together
Reyna then made her way to where she saw Nala and Hyun sparring. "Nala, Hyun…It's time for us to go. We have a living dead corpse to kill."
Nala and Hyun looked shocked to hear what they had from Reyna. "It's time already Rey?" Nala said shocked
"So…You're done with your crying fit. I know how to get the * out so I'll be going with you." Eric said seriously
"Fine, you can ride upon Hyun." Reyna stated ignoring his comment towards her
As the two of them were on top of the dragons and had flown out of the barrier Reyna instantly felt a decrease in temperature.
"Winter is coming…which is bad for you, he's stronger in the cold." Eric stated looking at her
"I see…well I'll be sure to keep that in mind." Reyna said before she kept her eyes forward
As it came close to night time Eric motioned down towards an opening in the forest. Reyna had her dragons fly down close to where Amara was. Nala and Hyun let the two of them get off before they turned to their human form. Eric then looked at Reyna seriously. "If we're going to do this properly I'm going to need to make him believe I'm still loyal to his *ty ass. I need you to act as if you are unconscious, think you can do that kid?"
Reyna nodded her head. "Yeah, I can do that. Just I need to know when I should make a move."
"Fair, when you hear me talk about how I 'defeated' you, that's why you get your ass up and go for him."
Reyna nodded her head and he picked her up, placing her over his shoulder. He then looked at the duo dragons. "Stay out of sight and don't get near Amara. He will sense you and know that Reyna isn't dead."
The two of them stayed put and nodded their heads. Eric then carried Reyna to the area where Amara was resting. Amara wore all black and kept his eyes covered with the hood of his cloak.
"You have the prophet I see." Amara stated
"I do, she's a mere child. It wasn't that much of a fight."
"I see, well I'm glad to see that you are still devoted to me Eric. In time your wish to become a god will become true once more. Now let me see the body of the prophet, I must extract her power to make you a god once more."
Eric tapped on her leg three times which made her aware of what was around her. As Eric placed her down onto the ground Reyna was quick to open her eyes grab the sword at her side before she pierced the sword into Amara's chest with both of her hands as she saw the male hovering just above her body with a hand stretched out to her.
"She…She was not dead?!" Amara said shocked
"Surprise mother *er! Eric has been working aside Goddess Tina and the other gods to help me get strong enough to deal with your *ty ass! You will no longer make the world unbalanced!" Reyna hissed out coldly as she used the power of Ryse's sword to place all of the elements within him at once as both set of her wings came forth behind her.
As the elements came out of Ryse's sword it shattered in pieces within the male breaking Ryse out of her sword in the process. Ryse made herself known and finished the male off by turning him to stone and kicking the stone into many small pieces. Ryse then helped Reyna up as she dusted the young female off.
"Well done young princess, you've done your duty well. Amara will no longer be able to harm those around him any longer. Granted you may end up dealing with his children or his wife if they give a care about him. But in the end you've done your job well. I will now be taking Eric up with me to the heavens where we will be dealing with things there. I will be summoning up the other gods as well so please do not call upon them for a while."
"Of course, you have to deal with your cheating two timing husband. I understand. Take care Goddess Ryse. Thank you for your company on this long road and thank you for making me as I am today." Reyna said bowing her head to the goddess
Ryse patted the top of her head before she disappeared with Eric, Reyna then walked to her two dragons who smiled as they saw her. "Rey!" They said in unison before they hugged her tightly
She hugged them back. "It's over…I'm no longer a prophet. But we aren't done yet."
"What do you mean by that?" Nala asked confused
"We need to go home Nala…There is much that needs to be done. But before we do we must get the others that are waiting in the city center."
The two dragons nodded their heads before they got into their dragon forms and flew off with Reyna on Nala's back. When they got to the city center they saw that Reyna had come back and she no longer held the sword of Ryse on her hip any more. Reyna got off of Nala before she looked at her cousins and the others that were there.
"Amara is no more, the goddess Ryse has been release from her sword. She is currently with the other gods making things right. So as of right now we have another task that will be up to us to deal with. The kingdoms of Militia and Oakheart are about to wage war upon one another in two months. We are going to stop that from happening. My beloved cousins, I need you to go back to the kingdom we hail from and support our kin. Joel, Darren and Blaine I wish for the three of you to take Damien Wright to the dungeons and I will deal with him personally after all is said and done. Zeph and Hyun, I wish for the two of you to go with Riki back to his home kingdom. There you three will meet up with his eldest brother Avery. The three of you are going to be tasked to get as much information out of the wraith king Lou and figure out why he isn't allowing my grandfather to take his place and accepting him as the rightful king of the Militia kingdom. I will be with the lot of you as soon as I can, I must deal with my family issues before I am able to put peace out there."
All of them bowed their heads towards Reyna. Malo then spoke up. "Our father left us here. What can we do?"
"You have choices, I can have you three be returned to your home kingdom, you guys can stay here to help build up the kingdom here or you can come with and help defuse the problem. Which may or may not imply killing off the wraith king." Reyna stated
"I will stay here. I wish to help this kingdom out." Alana said with a smile
"I go where my sis goes, so I will stay here as well." Aquina said happily
Reyna nodded her head. "Very well then. And you Malo?"
"I wish to help you out. I will go where you need me."
"Then you will go with Riki, Zeph and Hyun."
Malo nodded his head. "Very well then, I will see you when you are finished with your family squabble."
Reyna nodded her head before she looked at Ella. "Ella, what will you do? This is not your fight and you are in no way entitled to help me out."
Ella smiled at her. "I will be returning to my home and I will be taking over what belongs to me rightfully. Since you have done what is needed there is no need for me to be around any longer. I hope in time that we may see each other once more."
Reyna went up to her and hugged her tightly. "In time I do hope that's true. You are a good friend and I hope that we stay friends." She said happily
Ella hugged her back before she made her way back to the human kingdom by foot. Reyna then took a deep breath. "All of us have our agenda in what we must do. So let's get going Alana-Aquina I leave this kingdom in your care until we get back. If the founders king comes by at all freeze the * until I come back."
The duo nodded their head before all of them went their own way. When Reyna had made her way back home with her cousins, Reyna felt unsure about going back to the castle, she hadn't been there in years. She had no idea what she was expecting when she got to the castle. But the moment Nala had landed at the gates of the castle the guards bowed their head towards her and her cousins. She got off of Nala and patted the side of her. "Go to your nest where your parents are. I will call for you when we are leaving alright?"
Nala smiled and nuzzled her before she flew off, the other dragons left without their demons as well as Joel and Darren held Damien by his arms and took him inside. The three males took Damien to the cellar as Stella walked with Reyna into the castle.
"It's been a while since you've been here huh?" Stella asked
She nodded her head. "Yeah…bad memories are all I have in here." She said sadly
"Hopefully those will change in time. This is our home after all." Stella said as she looked up at her
"Hopefully."
When they got to the throne room Onyx smiled seeing Stella and Reyna. "Ah! My beautiful young granddaughters! Welcome back home!"
Stella and Reyna both bowed their heads to their grandfather. "Thank you." They said in unison
Reyna then smiled as she looked at her grandfather. "I've come back after I've completed my mission as the prophet grandfather. Amara is no longer amongst the living."
Her father, elder sister, Uncles and aunt were all stunned to hear the words that came out of her. Her grandfather clapped his hands with a bright smile upon his face. "I am very happy to hear such words come out of your Reyna. You are such a brave young woman to have done that. Now I must ask a favor of you granddaughter."
Reyna placed her hands together in front of her. "If it has to deal with the wraith king, I already have plans to deal with that male myself. He has crossed many lines while I've been gathering allies and strength to get to where I am today."
Her grandfather chuckled as he smiled. "Then you know about how he wishes not to make any alliance with me as the proper king of this beautiful kingdom."
Reyna nodded her head. "I am very aware of that, his eldest good for nothing son had warned me upon it. I have every intention on dealing with that son of a * when I get done here.Even if it means taking him off of his throne and placing his good for nothing eldest son there in his stead."
Onyx was surprised to hear about what her plan was to do. "Do you believe you have it in you to do such a feat?"
"I have already killed a man that brought death upon those around him-I can deal with a narcissistic piece of * that thinks that he knows 'best' for his kingdom and his family, when he is no better than the male that had pushed me off to the side and was a sperm donor to the female that birthed me. I already have a bit of red on my hands, so I fear not of what will happen to me when I face off the man that has brainwashed the man that I had loved not to be with me any longer." Reyna stated seriously "I have a serious vendetta against the Wraith lord and I will make sure he knows just how much he has *ed me off with what he has done to his eldest son. His son should be known as a disgrace for what he has done to the attachment that he once had to me."
Luma's eyes lit up hearing her younger sister speak. "You are no longer attached to Avery?! Does that mean I can be with him now?!"
Reyna growled out and she turned to look at her elder sister. "Over my dead body! You have your husband Zane who should be more than enough for you! Don't be a whore just because you can! To us demons you're a disgrace to think that you can get what you want just because you are the eldest of the new generation of kin for this kingdom. I can assure you that when Avery takes the throne of his people he will be with either one of his own or with one of those I have been around for the last half a year. I cannot trust someone of my own blood to do well around someone I had once found myself being attached to so fondly like him."
Andrea laughed and smiled hearing Reyna speak. "Luma, she speaks truth. You are the eldest of your generation and you have a husband already. Yet you have made no notion to have any children with the man. Zane is a capable male if you give him the chance to do so."
At that time Zane came in to speak to the lot of them as Luma spoke up. "I do not love Zane! He and I's marriage is solely because I was forced to be with him by my father! I have never once touched him because he is an ugly male who I cannot face to have any feelings for."
Reyna saw Zane's face fall for a short moment before his face went stoic once more. Luma was stunned as she saw Zane walk close to Reyna and bowed to her grandfather. "Lord Onyx sir, I am here to report back sir."
"Of course general Zane. What is your report?"
"It seems like there is a smoke screen that is covering the valley that separates our kingdom from the kingdom of Oakheart. With the smoke screen in place we cannot see for sure what is going on within the kingdom of Oakheart."
"No doubt that is the dragon that belongs to the princess that stands beside you General Zane." Onyx stated
Zane looked to reyna. "You are the half breed that had gotten the sword of ryse yes?"
She nodded her head. "I am yes."
"Then you should know how to stop that dragon from impeding on things."
Reyna chuckled as she shook her head. "No, I cannot stop that man from doing what he pleases to help solve the peace. But what I can do is tell you what will happen, the Lord of wraiths will fall by my own hand and someone better will be in his place. I do not know which of his many sons or daughters will take his throne but when they do I will come back here with them and I will make sure peace is kept between our kingdoms."
"You speak confident words for a mere teenager, how can I be sure that you can do such a feat?"
"Don't watch what I say but what I do. I am a woman of action not of words." Reyna said before she bowed her head to her grandfather. "I will back soon grandfather."
"I look forward to seeing what will happen with you granddaughter." Onyx stated with a smile
Her father got up, going straight up to her and grabbed her by her throat. "You are not to kill my friend do you hear that?! You kill Lou, you will be dead to me!"
Reyna looked at Stella "Mind giving me one of your daggers?" She asked calmly
Stella did without question before Reyna stabbed the heart of her own father, making him step back before Reyna went up to him and she took the dagger out. "Say hello to Bryce for me would ya?" Reyna said before she used her water magic and ice magic to in case him in water and ice before she shattered it with a single kick making her father be in many piece of ice on the ground
The room was quiet as they saw what Reyna had been able to do. Reyna then cleaned the dagger off before she gave it back to Stella. "Thank you dearie." She said before she walked off
Reyna first made her way to the training grounds where she went up to commander Ivan. "Evening sir." Reyna said with a smile
"Ah! If it isn't the prophet princess! What can I do ya for?!" The elder male said with a smile
"I need the sharpest mythril steel sword you have. The sword of Ryse shattered when I killed Amara. So I need a new sword, I also wouldn't mind two daggers as well." Reyna explained
"Two daggers and a sword huh? Not a problem. Follow me Princess."
She nodded her head and she walked with the elder male to a large building where there were people working on armor and weapons alike. He stopped one of the workers as his eyes landed on a male with white hair and teal eyes. "Oi, Harvey. Do you happen to have the list of inventory?" Ivan asked
"Yes, actually I do. I just finished counting everything and making sure everything was accounted for."
"I need it, the prophet princess needs weapons." Ivan stated nudging towards Reyna
The white haired demon looked at Reyna confused as he tilted his head to the side. "sir…Are you sure someone that small is the prophet princess?"
Ivan facepalmed himself. "Are you talking back to me Harvey?"
"N-No sir, I would never. I…I'm just worried you have the wrong demon that's all."
"Rey! There you are! Luma is going nuts right now! Did you seriously kill your own father?!" Joel asked as he came into the building
"Evening Joel, yes I did kill my father-with Stella's dagger no less. He threatened my life if I went after Lord Lou's life. I'm currently without a weapon since the Sword of Ryse ended up shattering when I killed Amara. So with that in mind I need to get new weapons. When I finish doing so I will be heading to Oakheart with Nala. I need you and the others to stand guard Damien until I get back." Reyna said as she looked at her cousin
"Sure thing, but I wanted to thank you for killing that crazy power hungry *. One last person to corrupt this place."Joel stated
Reyna nodded her head in agreement. "I'm aware of what my father would do if he stayed in power anymore than he had. Please do watch Damien well."
"Will do!" Joel said before he left out happily
Reyna then looked at Harvey. "You question not just your commanding officer but a princess. I am of Royal blood. So will you or will you not allow me to get weapons to defend or kingdom you worthless demon?" Reyna asked annoyed
Harvey instantly stiffened hearing the cold words that came from her and quickly got the papers. "Here sir, I-I'll…I'll be around." Harvey said before he left out quickly
Ivan laughed and looked at Reyna. "You truly are a different type of demon that's for sure."
"I'll take that as a compliment sir." Reyna said with a smile
They then went to a room off of the main building and he told her to pick what she wanted. She looked around and tested a few of the swords and daggers before she picked a blue rose sword that reminded her of her beloved Zeph and two purple and black daggers.
She then looked at Ivan. "Do any of these have anything special on them?"
"Yes actually, I'm glad you asked about that. The sword enhances magic attacks to the wielder and the two daggers have poison on the tips of the blade. The poison gets reapplied each time they are sheathed into their special holders. The poison is extremely deadly and can kill anything within seconds of touching it."
"Oooh…Looks like for my little run I'mma be taking the daggers with me. Do you mind doing an enchantment on the sword? I wish for it to solely be able to boost water magic."
Ivan looked at her confused. "Why just that element? That would kill demons."
"My lover is that of a water elemental. With his magic I want to be able to have something that shows my dedication to the man I love." Reyna said with a smile
"I see…here I thought instantly you were going to kill the rest of your family."
Reyna shook her head. "I may end up killing my elder sister if she keeps her * up. But till that happens it's merely to show my love for my beloved."
"Very well I can work on that while you are gone it will take me three days to get it done."
"Perfect, I will be back then to get the sword. Thank you commander Ivan you are a good soul." Reyna said before she gave the sword to him and rushed off with the daggers
Reyna then whistled for Nala who flew towards her. "Time to go?!"
"Yes, time to go. Let's meet up with Zeph, Hyun and Malo."
Nala let her on her back before the two of them were off. When they got to Oakheart Hyun was happy to see them. Zeph was on his back and smiled at Reyna. "You took no time to finish you business there."
"Hi to you too darling. I ended up having to kill my *ty ass father since my plan is to kill Lord Lou and to place one of his many sons on the throne." Reyna stated
"Yeah…about that. No one who isn't a wraith isn't allowed near that kingdom." Zeph said with a sigh
"That's about to change love. Let's go." Reyna said with a smile
The two dragons got as close as they could before they all went by foot towards the kingdom only to see that Malo was fighting off wraiths that were guarding the gate of the kingdom. She called for Malo to back off which he did before Reyna showed her wraith marking on her shoulder.
"Let my friends and I pass!" Reyna said sternly
The guards didn't realize that they were with the prince that had already went passed them so they apologized and they allowed them in. Reyna then looked at the kingdom seeing just how much of a disarray it was. Reyna frowned seeing a once beautiful kingdom torn down to pieces.
"Such a pity this place went to *…Hyun-Zeph take Malo and Nala to the temple of Tina. You all will be safe there and protected there. What needs to happen I need to do alone. I know the sparkfreed family better than my own since I literally grew up with the damn family." Reyna said seriously
"Are you sure you're going to be alright?" Zeph asked concerned
Reyna cupped his face in her hands. "Love, if I need you I will call for you I promise." She said sweetly before she kissed him lovingly on the lips "I love you please go for your own safety."
Zeph shut his eyes and sighed out. "Fine…Just this once." He said as he opened his eyes. "And I love you too."
The lot of them left, leaving Reyna to walk through the rubble that was once the quaint kingdom of Oakheart. The once big large black buildings now were either vacant or torn apart piece by piece. Reyna used her wings to then fly over the rubble as it wasn't safe for her to walk on the ground the further into the kingdom she got.
Once she got to the gates of the castle of Sparkfreed, she landed a feet away before she walked up with her wings still out. "May I pass?" She asked the guards
They nodded their heads and allowed her to enter as they opened the gate for her. She thanked them before the gates closed behind her. Reyna went in and she went up the familiar steps to the castle before she went into the castle. She went to the throne room to see Lou pacing the floor of the room.
"Evening…Lord Lou." She said coldly as she shut the doors to the throne room behind her
"YOU! You're the reason my eldest son no longer has his mark!"
