After the conversation with the gods, Reyna chose to personally help Damien out so they could proceed with their training with the other demi-gods. Which took her less than a week to get him up to snuff. After Damien had defeated Tina with his water magic, it was then Alana's turn to teach the duo what they needed to learn. Which was rather quick for both of them to catch onto learn and within two weeks they challenged Tina only for them to be able to freeze the goddess where she stood. Reyna melted her making Tina fall forward a bit.
"Well *, you two are learning rather quickly. I'm impressed."
"Thank you." They said in unison
"So all that is left is Tamaya, yes?" Tina asked
William nodded his head. "Yes, she's been watching them this entire time. I do believe she knows what she needs to do."
Tamaya came to stand beside her father with a firm nod of her head. "Damien and Reyna, you two are both ready for what I have to teach the two of you. Before we begin-I must know. When are your birthday's? Depending on when you are born depends on what type of earth magic you'll be able to know. Every part of the astrology calendar can only do certain types of magic."
"I was born Masai Eighth." Damien stated
"That's in the category of regular earth magic. Which is to be expected, you are a child of Goddess Tina." Tamaya stated before she looked at Reyna. "Princess?"
"Jaya Tenth." Reyna stated
Tamaya's eyes lit up. "That is most interesting! You were born in a month of an earth symbol! That would explain why you were having trouble with your water magic! It isn't your forte. You will have the quickest time picking up what I will show you princess!"
Reyna nodded her head. "What month was Damien born in?"
"Air, but the elemental demi-god for air is a *wad." Tamaya said unamused "Had he chosen not to turn his back against father and mother, he would have been here too."
"Oh…I see. That's understandable. So what will you teach us Tamaya?" Reyna asked
"We're going to start with the basics. Reyna, Damien I need the two of you to take your shoes and socks off. I want you to feel the ground under you."
The two of them did what they were told and Damien looked clueless. "How do you expect us to do that Tamaya?"
Tamaya giggled a bit. "You know how you felt the water around you, kinda like that kiddo."
Damien shut his eyes and did what Tamaya told him, while Reyna was already insync with the ground under her. Tamaya could see that Reyna was ready and went over to her. "Princess move the ground under you, try to raise yourself with the ground under you."
Reyna at first had difficulties with getting the ground to move under her, it took her five different tries to do so. It took Damien a bit longer than Reyna to be able to go through with raising himself up with the ground under him. When both of them were at the same pace Tamaya was rather patient with both of them knowing that it would be hard for them to do what was expected of the two of them.
It took them four days to be able to smoothly get to the point where they could raise themselves up with the ground under them. After that Tamaya had them working on different things; Damien worked on moving vines while Reyna worked on making lava out of the grounds. The two of them worked in separate parts of the forest around the kingdom that was still within the safe zone.
Tamaya worried more about what Damien was doing than Reyna so her attention was more on him than her. William on the other hand thought that his daughter's attention was on the wrong person and chose to watch over Reyna only to see her break down in tears as she had been trying for days to get herself to the point where she could get Lava to appear from the ground.
He was going to comfort the princess only to see Eric go up to her before he could. "You are frustrated, aren't you princess?"
Reyna looked to where the male was with tears in her eyes. "Of course I am! I'm supposed to be able to do a bunch of * that I have no knowledge of doing! I can't even do something as simple as get lava to appear from the ground! No way in hell am I going to be able to kill Amara in this condition!"
Eric let out a sigh as he went up to her and placed his hands firmly on her shoulders. "Take a deep breath and shut your eyes."
She did as he told her to do and her breath out was very shaky. "N-Now what?"
"That woman doesn't know what's going on here, she doesn't know the importance you bring to this world as a whole. I do-I know what Amara is capable of doing and what should be able to defeat him. You will need your ability to bend the earth under you and him." Eric said seriously "Now I've watched you from afar, I know what you are capable of doing. You are second guessing yourself princess. So here's what you need to do, combine your fire magic and your earth magic. In doing so you will feel the heat under your feet, once you feel that heat you'll be able to move it and bring it forth."
Reyna nodded her head and did what he told her to do, it took her only a small bit of time before she was able to find the right spot to ignite the ground. Afterwards she brought the heat upwards and she opened her eyes only to see that she had in fact made lava. Her green eyes lit up stunned. "T-Thank you Eric."
"It is my pleasure to help you out. I have watched Tina work with her magic and help those with her magic for centuries. I know that I am not one to cast magic but that doesn't mean that I don't know what it means to do so or know how important it is." Eric said with his arms crossed
She smiled at him and nodded her head. "I'm grateful to have you here, have you thought about who will be your moon yet?" Reyna asked
"I have a few thoughts in mind, but I won't do anything until I know Amara is gone."
She nodded her head again. "Okay."
"Now Princess, let's get you to be better than that demonic brat that's Tina's kid. I know a lot of old tricks that Tina taught her kin that the demi god of nature doesn't know."
"I'm willing to listen and learn Eric."
"Good, glad to hear that. Now…let's start with your footing, it's all wrong."
Reyna looked confused. "What's wrong with my footing?"
"Your feet are too close together."He stated. "That's probably been your main problem princess."
Reyna blinked her eyes a few times. "Okay…so how am I supposed to have my footing?"
"You know how to swordplay, yes?" Eric asked
"Yes."
"Part your legs in that stance."
Reyna parted her feet in the right position before she felt Eric go behind her and take her hands within his. "I'm going to show you just how to extract your earth magic better."
She looked back at him with a slight nod "Okay."
William was impressed with how much Eric was actually helping Reyna out, he was sure that Eric would * up and show his true colors. William hadn't seen him in months-so knowing that he had been overseeing everything until he was needed, he knew he had to be more open minded. As it got dark out Eric stopped helping Reyna and the duo made their way back to the kingdom where Damien was already in a change of clothes.
As Damien went up to Reyna, Reyna instantly spotted a small mark on his neck. She knew then that there was more than 'training' going on between the two of them. Reyna looked up in the trees where William was and spoke up. "Lord William, Tomorrow instead of watching me, mind keeping a keen eye on your daughter? I believe that there is more going on than the 'training' she's supposed to give him."
William dropped down and walked up to Reyna. "You knew I was watching you?"
"Yes, but I said nothing about it cause I knew you were concerned for me. I'm fine." Reyna said as she looked up at the pink haired god.
He squeezed her shoulder slightly. "Very well, I can do that after I know that you are good to go with your own magic."
Damien looked between the two of them. "T-That's not necessary. Honestly, Tamaya has been doing well with me." He said with his hands up in front of him
Reyna went up to him quickly and removed the collar of his shirt from his neck exposing the mark on his neck. "Bull *. It doesn't matter anymore if it's just the two of us. I can leave you behind." Reyna said seriously
"Princess, calm yourself, just let it be. He isn't worth your time or breath." Eric stated seriously
Reyna pushed Damien away from her and walked off not wanting to deal with Damien anymore. After she showered and she had a change of clothes she went to eat alone in the pillow room only for Riki to find her with his own food and he sat by her.
"Hey bestie, what's going on with you?" He asked concerned
Reyna sighed out as she lied back against the pillow she was sitting on. "What to go off about first." She said with a groan
Riki chuckled a bit. "That bad?"
Reyna gave him a 'you're joking right?' look, he placed his hands up as he had his plate on his lap. "Alright, alright. Go down the list Rey. You know that I'll always listen to what's going on with you."
Reyna let out a sigh before she sat up, she then started to eat her dinner as she spoke about her current problems. "I'm not sure if I'm ever going to be with anyone that I'm marked to be with. I'm worried when Hyun and Zeph come back that they will do the same thing that Avery did. I don't know anyone else who is an elemental that could possibly do what you had for me for that marking…and if I lose them I don't know how much damage that it'd do to me. When Avery renounced himself as my marked mate I felt like I was being stabbed in the hip."
Riki looked at her sadly as he stopped eating. "My brother is an *, I've mentioned this to you for years Rey, you know that he doesn't care about anything that doesn't go within his own agenda."
"I-I get that…but still. Why the * does he have to be such an * about everything?! Doesn't he realize what it would do to me or does it not even *ing matter?" Reyna said getting rather frustrated and upset about the matter.
Riki sat beside her instead of across from her and he placed a hand on her arm. "Listen Rey, If all out fails, you know that I'll always be at your side. I'm never leaving you. If those *s can't see what they're doing to you then * them. They don't deserve to be in your radiences. You're an amazing woman with amazing talents. They should consider themselves *ing lucky to be considered a possible person for you to even try to be romantic with."
"Y-Yeah..I guess you're right with that. You had been in a relationship before now, and I saw how you were in that relationship. That woman you were with really had no idea what type of person she was getting herself into."
Riki nodded his head in agreement. "And you saw how well I was able to rebound after I found her cheating on me."
Reyna nodded her head. "Mhm…that's true."
Reyna finished her plate before she placed it to the side. "I..I also have to worry about Damien. If Zeph and Hyun aren't going to take the mark seriously, he's supposed to be my rebound, but it seems like he already has plans being around Tamaya."
Riki raised an eyebrow at her. "Is that why she hasn't been working with you? Cause she's been *ing that *?"
"Yeah..but I see it as a grand opportunity. Eric has been teaching me things that I had no idea could work just to do spells." Reyna said with a smile
"You mean the odd demi-god that I've been seeing just walking around observing everything and everyone?" Riki asked
Reyna nodded her head. "Mhm. He's the demi-god of the sun, he's supposed to find someone to be his demi-god of the moon but he hasn't said word one about who he'd have take that position."
Riki was in thought for a moment before he looked at her curiously. "What if he has it be you?"
Reyna looked at him confused. "Why the hell would he want me to be the mood goddess? I'm not that special."
"Bull *, stop placing your special ass down. You are a strong independent woman, Reyna. After your prophecy is all said and done you won't have anything else to do. So why not be a goddess? With that type of power you'll be able to outlive my brother and spite his ass."
"But then I'll watch those I love and care about die out as well." Reyna said sadly before she shook her head. "No way, I'd refuse it."
Riki looked at her with a sad smile. "You really are a kind hearted woman. I can't tell if it's because of your blood or because it's in your nature to be so."
She gave him a shrug "I dunno either Riki…honestly."
At that time Hyun and Zeph made themselves known in the room as they had both rushed into it slightly out of breath.
"Reyna!" They said in unison worried
Zeph went up to her and cupped her face in his hands. "Are you alright? That wraith * didn't * you up too hard did he?"
Reyna blinked her eyes a few times. "W-Wait a moment…How did you two come back so soon and where's Ella?"
"Ella is safe, she's resting right now in her room. Everything there is taken care of, when we came back William informed us that Avery is no longer here and that he has renounced his connection to you as the prince of wraiths and his mark position with you." Hyun said sadly
"Oh..I see. I'm glad you guys were able to keep things peaceful over there. As for the whole wraith situation. It hurt like a *, I almost died cause of that *. But because he has such a kind brother, I was able to get up." Reyna said before she took Zeph's hands from her face before she placed an arm around Riki. "This is one of many of Avery's younger brothers-Riki. He is taking his brother's place as my wraith companion."
Riki awkwardly waved hello to the two males. "It's a pleasure to meet the two of you, Rey has told me a lot about the two of you."
"I bet she has." Zeph said before he looked at Reyna. "What exactly happened that made that * * you over so badly?"
Reyna looked down sadly. "It's because of something that I told him that made him be irate."
Hyun sat on the other side of her. "What did you tell him?"
Reyna took a deep breath before she looked between Zeph and Hyun. "I've been speaking on and off to the goddess of Love and she has made it rather clear that if none of you step up, that you three will lose your markings and connection to me in a loving matter. That I will have free rein to be around whomever I wish to be around."
Both of them looked at her stunned. Reyna then looked down sadly. "He went off saying that if he couldn't show his own way of loving me then there was no reason for him to love me to begin with. So…So he's chosen to no longer be at my side."
"And he's the one who has had the most time with you too…that's *ed up." Zeph said shaking his head
"If we need to step up and show that we love you, then that's what we'll do." Hyun said seriously
"Y-You two aren't angry with me?" Reyna asked sadly
"Why are we going to be angry at you for something that is out of your control? It's obvious that Avery isn't going to be the right male for you so don't think that we're going to be just like that moron." Zeph said seriously
Zeph then cupped her face in his hands and pressed his forehead against hers. "Hyun and I never got to have the time with you that Avery had. So let us spend time with you when you aren't training. Let us be there for you to lean against. Don't push us away from you."
Reyna teared up before she placed her hands over his. "O-Okay…T-thank you Zeph…hyun." She said as she shut her eyes letting the tears go down her face.
Zeph and hyun hugged her tightly making her sob out against both of them. Riki left her be with both males as he took their dishes back to the kitchen. Once Reyna had finished crying out she spoke to the two males about what had happened while they were out. She wanted to know what had happened with the shape-shifters and what was going to happen to that kingdom now. Zeph and Hyun took turns explaining to her what had happened.
Ella had to dethrone her father and mother who were *ed that she left and didn't come back on the boat. Ella wanted to live her own life, Goddess Sandra had came down and made her queen of her people. Ella took the position proudly and told her people that she was on a quest to keep peace and open channels of trade with different kingdoms.
That when she came back she would have more trades for them to go through and better prices for everything. In her stead she asked one of her cousins to take charge of the shapeshifters until she is ready to return back. Reyna felt a bit at peace hearing what she had from the two males. After they finished speaking, Reyna then told them what she had gone through with her training and how hard it had been for her to deal with the ice magic training and how much harder the earth training had been for her.
Zeph looked at her curiously "Don't wraiths use earth magic for their defense magic?"
Reyna blinked her eyes a few times. "T-They do. What about it?"
"Have Riki help you out tomorrow, I believe having a connection with him would be good for you." Zeph stated
She let out a small sigh. "I'll ask him tomorrow about that. Tonight, tonight I just wish to sleep. Will you two please accompany me? I don't want to be alone tonight."
Both of them were stunned to hear what Reyna had requested of them. But Zeph smiled at her, "Of course, if that's what you want."
Reyna nodded her head. "I-It is."
When the three of them went to sleep in the room that was Reyna's, she refused to let go of their arms that were over her. She had her hands laced with theirs, both of them could feel her hands shivering and shaking. Zeph and Hyun knew that she was afraid of losing them, both of them knew that they'd have to deal with the situation with Reyna. Hyun was the one who broke the silence as they both saw that Reyna had fallen asleep.
"Only one of us can be with her, that's a fact. So…Why not it be you. I won't do what Avery did. But I will back down from her." Hyun stated softly
"Why would you do that?"
"Rey is royalty, I'm a mere commoner dragon. I shouldn't trifle with that type of stuff. You're a prince, you can become a king beside her." Hyun stated
Even though Zeph thought that he was crazy, he knew that Hyun was right. "Alright, if that's what we're going to do-I'm going to need you to make sure that Damien stays as far as possible from her. I don't want him thinking he'll get close to her."
"Got it, I can do that not a problem."
"Good, now both of us need our sleep. We shouldn't have gone all out like we did just so people can stop *ing at Ella like we did."
Hyun nodded his head slightly before both of them fell asleep, come morning time Hyun woke up first and softly but slowly took his hand from Reyna's grasp. He left out making sure that no one disturbed Reyna and Zeph. They needed to be around one another, it was the only logical way to do things.
Hyun chose to be a guard dragon and be in his dragon form in the hall blocking the door to Reyna's room. The next to wake up was Zeph, he noticed that hyun actually chose to leave him alone with Reyna. He moved himself so he was towering over the young red haired female, only for him to give her a soft kiss on her cheek. "Princess, wake up beautiful." He spoke softly to her
She soon woke up and looked at Zeph flustered seeing him on top of her. "Z-Zeph, W-Where's Hyun?"
"He went to the bathroom, most likely I woke up to him not being in here. The two of us need to talk seriously missy." He said as he pulled her up by her hands so they were both sitting up.
Reyna looked at him with a raised eyebrow, "what did you want to talk about?"
"I want to talk about the future of us…what it'll entail and what you're going to do once things are said and done for." Zeph said seriously
Reyna moved herself so she was sitting on her feet as she looked at him. "Well, if it becomes you I end up with-which I wouldn't mind. You are a very sweet male and I'm very glad to have the pact that I do with you. After Amara is dead, you and I will come back here and we'll start our own kingdom. Anyone who seeks to get out of their current kingdom's bull * if things don't change will be welcomed here."
"So it'll be safe to assume that you and I would be king and queen of this kingdom." He asked
She nodded her head. "It is supposed to be the kingdom of the founders, but the * doesn't want his *ing kingdom back. So I am renaming it for the sake of the ruler being different."
"You do realize if that's the case, we're going to have to be rather close to one another. Are you sure you want to do something like that with me?" He asked concerned
She looked at him confused. "Why the hell would you ask me something like that Zeph?"
Zeph took her hand in his. "I'm darker than you-I could-"He started to say before she kissed him on the lips
He was stunned that she kissed him, he didn't expect that she would want anything to do with him because of his skin color. The words from Luma were burning in the back of his mind for months. He had to make a mention of it to her-he had to be sure that she'd love him for him. As she pulled away from him, there was sadness in her green eyes.
"Zeph, never will I ever think of you as being different from me. So what if our skin colors are different? It doesn't matter to me. You're you no matter what skin color you have. I love you for you and that's final." She said sincerely to him
Hearing the words that she said to him made him break down into tears as he hugged her tightly. She hugged him back as she petted the back of his head. "It's okay Zeph. I promise you that it'll be okay." She spoke soothing his tears down
Zeph looked at her with tears in his eyes before he cupped her face in his hands before he kissed her on the lips. "You are such an amazingly sweet soul Reyna, I'm so *ing lucky to have you."
She gave him a small smile as she placed her hands over his. "As I am to have you Zeph, where did that bull * come from?"
"I must confess that when we had encountered your father and demonic elder half sister, your sister had made mention of the fact that I would 'taint' you if I was to be with you." He said sadly "T-That you would n-never love me cause I'm too dark skinned."
Reyna couldn't believe that it was her toxic demonic sister that *ed his brain up. She pushed him back and sat on top of him as she cupped his face. "You mister need to stop taking * from a woman that's a whore. Do you have any idea how many males she's gone through before she ended up being around her current husband?"
Zeph was stunned and shocked that she had pushed him down and sat on top of him. After hearing the words that she spoke he shook his head-he had no knowledge of the answer to the question she had asked him. Reyna then slid her hands into his, holding them tightly before she spoke up.
"She messed around with seven males before she was married."
