After school,the friend group was walking towards Roberts house. With Robert himself,of course. As they knocked on the door,someone yet unexpected opened the door.
"August?" The woman,who opened the door said
"Wha-?" August was speechless. She stepped backwards as she examined the face of the woman. She wasn't wrong. It was who she thought it was
"August,This is my step-mom..Any problem?" Robert asked concerned as August looked pretty disturbed
"Mom?" August finally let it out. Everyone looked at her.
"What are you doing here?" Mrs. Inda said as August walked a little closer,everyone still suprised
"Noah knew Robert,I knew Robert. He wanted to talk..What else would be the reason?" August said all in one breathe,looking down. She wasn't at all glad to see her mom,which Mrs. Inda certainly was.
"Robert's my son" Mrs. Inda gulped at what she said. Was that too quick?
"You're his step-mom,What's so new about that?" August said,disappointed. She glanced at Liam once.
"Oh um-Guys,everyone please come in,would you all?" Mrs.Inda,Now Mrs.Better exclaimed,though she did stutter a bit

"Keeping aside what I wanted to say,what the hell just happened,August?" Robert took a chair and sat on it,The girls sitting on his bed.
"I don't know what happened. As if I got the time to communicate with her and know what happened" August sighed and said. She was looking at her feet
"August. That's Mrs.Inda" Elliana sat up and pointed at August. She,August and Noah knew this very well.
"My father's wife,whom he divorced" Noah also stood up and pointed accusingly at August. Though,he did sit back down when everyone was staring at him
"What the heck is happening?! Liam!?" June,chewing another pack of chewing gum screamed at Liam,Expecting him to know everything because she still thought August was his girlfriend
"How am I supposed to know?" Liam,having the most calming voice out of them said. His voice was very soft though he did shout a bit
"August,Care to explain?Isn't Inda YOUR last name?" Robert sat up and said. But he sat back down when he saw August gulping
"Why not? Noah right here,is not my own brother. He's my step-brother. When my sister Amelia died,My father AKA Noah's father and My mother AKA Robert's mother now,got a divorce. Life is absolutely beautiful that hell of a father came back one day,and my mother left the house for some unknown reason" August screamed all of this at all of them,for she was annoyed.
"Hell of a father? He's a great one!" Noah exclaimed at August. He didn't like someone mocking his father at all
"That man,because of him,My sister Amelia died. He wanted a son always either way. Wish I could've died with Amelia" August wiped the slight tears forming in her eyes
"You're the one who's making it worse,Why do you keep saying Amelia's name? When we met,You said you didn't want anyone to say your dead sisters name. That was about the rumour. And here you are saying it again and again" Liam softly said. He didn't want to shout/yell at August and make matters worse
"Robert. Is that enough? Do you want me to explain more? Do you want me to leave at all either way?!" August yelled at Robert
"Let's not get back on that ugly topic. Can I say what I wanted to say?" Robert said,trying to change the topic. Whoever was standing up,sat back down on their seats
"So I was thinking..We all go camping! How's the idea huh?" Robert exclaimed. He seemed very excited and very confident everyone loved the idea
"Not a bad idea! I better seek permission though" Noah exclaimed
"Same here. I doubt miss would allow me" August glanced at Noah and then smiled at Robert
"Thank god I live alone. I am so agreeing to the camping idea!" Elliana jumped out of the blue,which did scare Robert a bit,if he was being honest.
"Alright why wouldn't my mom allow me? I mean she would if I mention I'm going with Robert and Noah only.." Liam said,giggling a bit. August smiled at him which made Liam almost laugh like a psychopath would
"Is there going to be chewing gum? No marshemellows please..so stereotypical" June said chewing gum once again. August rolled her eyes at her. Robert smiled a bit at her which June was disgusted at
"Okay,so August and Noah need to confirm. The rest of us are going?" Robert asked noting something down in a notepad kept nearby. Everyone showed a thumbs up except for June
"I still argue. Is there going to be any chewing gum?" June swallowed the chewing gum and her normal,sweet,polite voice said.
"There is going to be chewing gum. Are you coming now,June?" Robert,still writing in his notepad,said without even looking at June.
"Yeah,I guess I am now" June smiled at herself. She surely had a beautiful voice which she needed to speak in more. Some would call her voice and looks gifted,some would call her stupid for being so disgusting. That's another story though
"Wonderful. So I've checked everyones names. August and Noah,Please tell me if you get permission. I suppose Noah has my number?" Robert said as he placed his notepad back on a table nearby
"Yeah,I'll call you and tell you about me and August" Noah said as he got up from the chair,indicating August to do the same
"August,May I have a word with you?" Mrs.Better walked in the room
"Um sure?" August said as she walked to the door,following Mrs.Better
