A Sequel to Remember
  • With it being their last day in Kalos, the newlyweds wanted to make the most of their final day in the romantic city of Lumiose. Walking hand in hand, Lucian walking on the outside part of the sidewalk, they took a few pictures around town of both the landscape and of each other. More often than not, stolen kisses or a sly neck kiss would slip in just as a flash would go off. Shauntal, having a slight literature withdraw, offered a suggestion for them to visit a local bookstore.
  • Thankful to the fact that she wasn't the only one excited to see what books were available there; they took a detour to the book store. Shauntal was grateful that both her and Lucian were somewhat fluent in Kalosian, in both language and writing. While they were glancing over the various sections, Shauntal felt a light nudge from the edge of her skirt. A young lady, easily around her early teens, held a well read book Shauntal wrote years previous, and inquired for a signature on the cover of her book. She was touched that someone so young was interested in her writing.
  • After asking for her name, Shauntal made a signature towards the front cover and encouraged her young reader fan to continue to read and never let anyone to set limits for her imagination. The two shared an embrace before the teen left with joy sparkling in her eyes. As Shauntal turns to face Lucian, she notes that he had a somewhat knowing grin on his face. When she asks about the look, he simply shakes his head, pulling her into his arms before whispering a comment about how she would be a wonderful mother.
  • Flushed from ear to ear, she denies it -- as she doesn't know the first thing about being a mother and would probably panic if she was. She knew nothing about raising a child and would probably be a clumsy mother. However, as she thought about it, ideas came to mind, turning the tables on him as she inquired what he thought about on the idea of him being a father. He smiled at her, with that confident grin of his as he held her left hand to his lips, causing her to sway in place. He'd have no problem with being a father. Granted, it would have to be something they would have to plan for, but he knew that so long as they were working together, they would both be wonderful parents. They had time to plan for their future and when they felt they were ready, they'd make an effort to start one. As he made that comment, her mind immediately went somewhere quite inappropriate and she whispered to Lucian that he had her permission to read her mind to hear her thoughts.
  • A dark flush crept over his own cheeks, even as a knowing grin spread upon his lips at her ideas of particular pet names for him if they were to be parents. It wasn't often that Shauntal had a chance to tease her beloved but when she did, oh, seeing his reaction was always worth it. Stealing a kiss within the moment, Shauntal took the mystery book he was looking over and a book of poetry for herself to pay for them -- despite his protests of wishing to pay for them for her. They held off on reading their books, wishing to spend one last night at a restaurant that offered Litwicks as their source of light, making Shauntal feel at home.
  • After ordering the meals, she reached across the table to intertwine her hands with his. Shauntal was silent for a moment before she spoke up; thanking him for a wonderful vacation and expressing how much she enjoyed spending time with him. She loved every second she experienced, even if things went sour for a day or two. But they solved an issue together and knowing that made her happy, giving her hope for how well they would work together in the Sinnoh League. He agreed with her and expressed how much of a joy it was to spend with her. Just being at her side was all he truly needed and he loved her more than words could say. They shared a brief, but romantic kiss before pulling back and brought up a topic that neither truly wished to discuss at full length..
  • Plans on their return home.
  • They were to take a plane back to Sinnoh in the afternoon after they checked out of the hotel, followed by nearly eight to ten hours of the flight. The trip was coming to an end but Shauntal had no regrets.
  • She was happy and was excited to get started on her career in Sinnoh at his side.
