After spending a great deal of the day time speaking with Professor Sycamore about Mega Evolution and getting things set up for Shauntal to use the stone she has for her Banette set up; the newlyweds found themselves speaking to several of the Elites that resided in Kalos. As she revealed what she discovered in one of their shops, she confessed that she was skeptical about letting such a sight slide without notice. Many of them seemed disturbed by what she told them but agreed that something needed to be done.
Though they promised each other that they wouldn't do anything work-related -- it was their legal obligation to do something about the black market-cursed dolls being sold to the public. Approaching the owner during the daytime wasn't ideal. However, the nighttime was perfect for them to question and they intended to get answers.
The evening felt like a rushed blur. Between the intense interrogation with the store owner turning hostile, to the dolls on the shelves being forced to fight them, and finding out the owner was possessed by a shiny Gengar; it was such a hot mess. Thankfully, they were able to make short work of the dolls and made a group effort to take care of the shiny Gengar that was causing problems. They were also able to release the lost spirits of the children that were in the dolls. With most being damaged, Shauntal was unable to take any of them home.
That was okay. She wouldn't want to keep something that had such a sad story attached. Once things were wrapped up, Shauntal and Lucian decided to take their leave -- allowing the authorities of Kalos to deal with the remains of the situation.
This wasn't their turf, so it was best that they allowed the Elites to take care of things here. Hand in hand, they took a walk and enjoyed the evening city lights. Feeling a little drained from the battle they assisted in, Shauntal makes the brief comment, suggesting that they stay inside their hotel room the next day. She was starting to feel her social battery drain and only came out tonight due to concerns she had.
