Nothing but sunny skies and little to no clouds welcomed the pair in the morning. Having heard a little gossip in the lobby, there was a rumor that the plush dolls in a local store were said to be haunted, moving about on their own at night. Shauntal looked at her beloved with excitement, but was only greeted with a firm glare. He didn't seem too impressed by the collection she possessed already in her office and didn't think she needed any more. Little did he know that she perfected the art of pleading to make an argument sway in her favor. She gazed up at him with wide, soft lavender eyes, pouting as she pleaded her case to acquire one of the haunted dolls. It was all she would ask for as a wedding gift.
Much like her former co-worker and ex, it worked like a charm on him Pinching his brows, he agreed to purchase one of the dolls for his beloved. Just seeing her give him that look nearly caused the man to bend at the knee. She smothered him affection before dragging him out by the hand to head towards the store. She didn't stop moving until she got to the doll section, only to gasp with excitement. There was a large section of various cursed versions of Pokemon.
There was a sign on the display, warning patrons that they weren't normal dolls and that they would require need constant love and care. She usually gave care to her dolls on the regular, so this didn't sound like a problem. Now the real issue - which one should she pick?
As a Ghost Type trainer, she could get a sense that there were actually souls of Pokemon and lost children in those plush toys. She frowns a bit. Her heart ached for the lost souls, now trapped.
This didn't feel right.
There had to be something they could do to help them. Perhaps, after they deal with the dolls and the store manager, she could consider one. For now, she had to pull him aside, perhaps back in their room to figure out what to do about the situation.
