Ajax opened the front door to his house and greeted Amy and Lyra, he welcomed them into his home. He turns to Amy and asks eagerly, "So, how did the mission to find the herb go?"
Amy's face lit up as she pulled out a small pouch from her bag. "We found it!" she exclaimed, holding up the pouch for Ajax to see. "It wasn't easy, but with the help of a neighboring pack, we were able to locate it."
Ajax breathed a sigh of relief. The herb was a crucial ingredient for a potion that could heal even the most severe of injuries, and their pack had been running low on it for months. The herb had more uses as well, he was grateful that Amy and the others had been successful in their mission.
"Thank you, Amy," Ajax said, taking the pouch from her. "This will help us keep our pack healthy and strong."
As they continued their conversation, Ajax couldn't help but feel a twinge of unease about Theron's claim on Lyra. He knew that Theron wouldn't give up easily, and he worried about what that could mean for their pack.
But for now, he pushed those thoughts aside and focused on the present. With the rare herb in their possession, he knew that they were one step closer to ensuring their pack's safety and well being.
As Ajax turned his attention to Lyra, he could see that she was still a bit uneasy about the situation with Theron. He decided to try and ease her concerns. "Lyra, I know this is a difficult time for you. But I want you to know that you're safe here with me. Remember, you're one of us, and we will protect you no matter what."
Lyra nodded, a small smile appearing on her face.
