梁祝: The Butterfly Lovers (with ENHYPEN)
  • In an hour’s time, it was already dark. And then, she found the Silla Academy right in front of her eyes. She smiled at the seams.
  • Father…if I don’t return after years…just remember about the flower in the cup…alright?
  • She then entered the school and saw many pupils her age walking from left to right. She struggled to find her assigned dormitory. But as she sat there all alone, she noticed that a familiar student had passed by her.
  • Ruby-red lips, pearly-white teeth…o’ what a fine figure!
  • In a flash, she realized she was in love with the person she had heard about in a few days.
  • O Damian! Darling, endearing Damian! Wherefore thee so quaint? Certes thee has't nev'r been in loveth with a wench bef're!
  • And so, she seemed to smile. Eventually, she asked someone in the school for her dormitory, and she was given the correct directions. And then, she was there in front of her new dormitory.
  • I am here, comfortable Father…I am here…you don’t have to fret. I am here.
  • It was the evening of the Lunar New Year in Silla. They also celebrated the return of the Princess of England as well. The schoolmaster and his wife gave a long introduction.
  • And then the schoolmaster said, “‘Tis gone! You are welcome, ladies and gentlemen! Come, musicians, play!”
  • The music began to play and the students began to dance. For the very first time in her life, Yingtai was having the time of her life. As she danced, she somehow forgot about the man she deeply loved.
  • But then, Damian Liang, a Korean noble of Chinese and European descent, noticed the beauty in Yingtai.
  • What lady is that which doth enrich the hand of yonder knight?
  • He began to express his love for her through reciting a line from Shakespeare.
  • “O, she doth teach the torches to burn bright!” he said to himself, “It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night like a rich jewel in an Ethiope’s ear, a beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear. Forgive me…did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight; I ne’er saw true beauty till this night!” And soon, he was in love as well. But Yingtai remained unnoticed.
  • Damian Liang was a leader of a court he had conformed to long before knowing Yingtai. He entitled it the Butterfly Counseling Court. When he saw the beauty of the girl, he felt enamoured. His only best friend Jadeus stood right beside him.
  • “Reciting Shakespeare, aren’t we?” he asked.
  • “Yes, companion,” said Damian, “I was just…admiring all of the people.”
  • Jadeus laughed. “But why would you fall for someone you don’t know?”
  • “How did you know?”
  • “There is only one girl that you love. And that is the lovely Yingtai Zhu of the Zhu Clan.”
  • And Damian felt defeated; Jadeus left him alone.
