[Finished] Operation Deadly Love
  • Alina
  • Since a long time ago, werewolves, witches, vampires, and other supernatural creatures were seen as horrible monsters, meant to scare little kids. They were invented as nothing more than fairytales meant to entertain… but they were wrong.
  • We exist and we exist among you… only you don’t know. The world is full of what you call supernatural. Mermaids who travel the oceans, vampires who rule the night, werewolves and fairies who live in the forest. Some of us are good and some of us are evil… just like humans.
  • My name is Alina Solis and I am what you would call a witch, but I am so much more than that. I am a healer and I am a bender – that means I use magic to heal others and bend the elements to my will.
  • I am also what my kind call a half breed – born to an Alpha werewolf father and a witch for a mother. I lost my parents when I was a child when a clan of vampires attacked my father’s pack. Most of our pack had been murdered and the other children and I had been sent away.
  • I grew up in an orphanage with normal human children and I knew to try and keep my powers hidden. One of the sisters who took care of us was also a healer and bender like myself and she taught me in secret. We both knew that if others found out, I would be in danger and so would she. We would be both be haunted and possibly killed.
  • Humans never understood us and they feared us for being different. They feared our power and saw us as a threat. I never blamed them, for we are stronger than them. Hence, why there are the Winchester Hunters. They are an organization made of humans who hunt us like animals and who force us into hiding.
  • This is why I live in a forest, away from normal civilization. To the world, I barely exist. All they know of is Solis which is the name I use for the books I write. That is how I make a living and how I afforded to buy a mansion in the forest and the land around it.
  • For the past few years, I have been living quietly and in tranquility, isolated from the chaos of the human world, waiting to one day meet my soulmate or soulmates.
  • Yes, you see, us supernatural creatures have something else which is special. Our fated partner or partners are written in the stars. Our wrists are adorned with a tattoo that seems to have a life of its own. It is said that when we meet our fated soulmate or soulmates, the black lines are filled with colour.
  • My tattoo shows a moon and a wolf looking at it, howling with seven stars surrounding it. The sister had said that most likely I had seven soulmates. It was not unheard of that supernatural creatures like myself had more than one soulmate but it was rare to have so many. I imagine mine could be werewolves which is why I have that tattooed on my wrist.
  • I smiled at the thought of one day meeting them and feeling complete. I longed for that feeling even though it scared me.

  • I looked at the moon which was shining brightly. I smiled, feeling the night breeze hitting against my face. I looked over to the boys that were all sleeping on the ground, huddled together.
  • Jin was laid right next to me, his head placed on my lap, a smile adorning his handsome face. Hoseok and Yoongi were cuddled up together, next to the tree. Jimin, Jungkook and Taehyung were a mess of legs and arms, as they all lay sprawled on top of each other. It seemed like a contest of who was snoring the loudest out of the three of them.
  • I ran my hand over my tattoo which included a wolf with six stars and a line that divides it from four circles which were on top of each other. Each circle represented an element – fire, earth, water and air.
  • For the past few years, the wolf side of the tattoo has been filling with colours gradually – each star filled with bright colours. Each star represented a member of our own little pack. Yet, the other side remained uncoloured for each one of us.
  • We knew there was one more mate we need to meet and we were all excited to meet him or her. We knew that whoever this mate was, they were different from us which was both exciting and scary. I wondered whether she was a bender. I had heard of them but never saw one.
  • I looked back at the boys as I smiled to myself, proud of how far we have come. The seven of us met throughout the years. Some of us were orphaned and some were cast away while one of us even ran away from his pack. We were all outcasts to other packs until we found each other and formed our own pack.
  • It’s been difficult, having to always be on the move. We survive on whatever food we find or when we find someone willing to help us. We don’t have any shelter and it’s hard sleeping on the cold floor, especially in the cold winters. It’s been difficult whenever we had to fight vampire clans or run away from hunters or other packs. Yet, we’re happy, because we’re free.
  • ‘Joonie?’ Jin called out as he fixed his position to sit down next to me. I smiled as I opened my arms and he pulled in closer. ‘Is everything okay?’ he asked.
  • ‘Yeah. I just couldn’t sleep and found myself thinking about how we came together and about the remaining soulmate,’ I admitted.
  • He instantly smiled at the mention of soulmate and I could hear his heart accelerate more. ‘Do you think we will meet her or him soon?’ he asked.
  • ‘I hope so Jinnie,’ I said as he nodded. ‘Only then can we truly be complete,’ I said.
  • We're finally starting a new story. I managed to at least give you a taste of what is coming now. This story might be shorter than the others. The plan is still a work in progress although I do have some key moments in mind. I look forward to seeing you here in this story. Tae's Misfit
  • "I knew at once that you were meant for me. Deep in my soul I know that I'm your destiny."
